The Jonas Brothers are up for three orange blimps at the Kids' Choice Awards next month, and Nick Jonas recently admitted to MTV News that the guys are certainly ready to take home one of the trophies come awards night.
"We're really blessed to be nominated for favorite band again this year," he dished. "We'd love to win it. That'd be great. We're up against some great people, who have had some great success."
Aside from the music accolade, the guys (well, specifically Nick and Joe) are also up for an acting prize. But Nick wants fans to write in another brother to take home the award.
We want to wish a happy birthday to the eldest of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, who turns 23 today! And it seems that we're not the only ones sending our birthday wishes out to the superstar, who is currently touring with his brothers down in South America.
Joe took to Twitter today with this little message, "Happy birthday bro! @Kevinjonas." Nick hadn't tweeted a message by press time, but we imagine he's also sending his love out to his big bro.
Meanwhile, his parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise, wished their boy a happy birthday via Twitter, as well. "Happy Birthday Kevin. You have blessed us for 23 years," his dad wrote. "You are a great son, great brother, great husband to Danielle, and great person."

Last night brought the troubling news that Demi Lovato has left her tour with the Jonas Brothers and entered medical treatment for "emotional and physical issues"—and with new info circulating that the star's problems stem from a painful past, everyone's wondering whether they missed the early signs of trouble. Does Demi's history reveal hints of darkness, despair and an abrupt exit from the public eye? Let's find out, with a look back at her life so far.
Demi (whose commonly-known name is actually short for "Demetria") was born on August 20, 1992, in Dallas, Texas. The child of a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader mom and a recording artist dad, she already had performing in her blood—the musically gifted girl started playing the piano at age seven and got an early start in showbiz as a cast member on "Barney and Friends." (Fun fact: Demi appeared on the show alongside Selena Gomez, who became her bestie.)

Willow Smith's new music video "Whip My Hair" briefly premiered on Just Jared today (don't worry, it will be back at 7 p.m. ET!), and while we're a little concerned about why a 9-year-old feels she needs to be whipping her hair, we like the lesson behind the jam regardless. "You can't be afraid to be yourself," the daughter of Will Smith and Jada-Pinkett Smith dished to JJ. "You have to be yourself and you can't let anyone tell you that it's wrong!" Who wouldn't agree with that! There are so many celebrities out in Hollywood with plenty of hair that we are dying to see whip around. But we want to hear from you! Who would you would most like to see whip their hair?

Who wants to bet his first single will be called "Vampire Sweetheart"? After months of speculation, E! Online has confirmed that Joe Jonas will be following in the footsteps of younger bro Nick, as he plans to release a solo album sometime in 2011. Who would have thought the singer had any time to pen tunes with all that Ashley Greene lovin' going on?
E! Online spoke to a source at Hollywood Records who said Joe is working with "various writers and producers on music," adding, he "wants a more dangerous sound," much like a "sexier, Justin Timberlake" vibe.
In fact, it sounds like Joe will be changing his look to match his new sound, eschewing the band's dapper suit-and-tie ensembles for a rougher T-shirt and leather jacket look.
Nick Jonas turns 18 today. That means he can add being able to legally vote to his list of accomplishments (which already includes hit tours, hit records, hit TV shows and hit movies). And while we have yet to hear what group present Joe and Kevin get young Nick (Joe recently got a super-cool spy watch for his 21st), it seems that Nick isn't much of a birthday guy to begin with anyway.
"The big 18! You know birthdays for me, I always feel like they're kind of ridiculous," he dished to MTV News at the "Camp Rock 2" premiere weeks before the big day. "But it's fun. I'm excited."

"Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" certainly was a ratings gangbuster. Thanks to the 8 million people who tuned into the flick on Friday (September 3) when it premiered on Disney Channel, it seems likely that a lot of people would be excited to continue the fun in a third flick. And, it was an idea that the film's fearless female lead, Demi Lovato, was certainly down with when MTV News caught up with her earlier this summer.
"We don't know! It could be. It could be the end," she teased about the flick. "It could be the next chapter! I would love to see another 'Camp Rock' movie happen."

JoBro fans rejoice: Today is the day "Camp Rock 2" hits theaters (in case you hadn't guessed yet from our many posts)! Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas all took to their respective Twitters to express their excitement about the film's release, retweet fans' enthusiasm and try to get their celebrity friends to spread the news. Joe tried to hook in Ryan Seacrest by asking, "Yo! You watching camp rock 2 tonight???" while Nick tweeted at Kim Kardashian with, "you watching camp rock tonight Kim?" and Kevin got at Lebron James with, "you watching camp rock tonight! Haha."
Fans of television shows "30 Rock" and "The Vampire Diaries" got some spoilery treats on Twitter today from actress Elizabeth Banks and "VD" writer Julie Plec. "Spoiler alert: Avery Jessup is back," Elizabeth tweeted about her return to the sitcom. "Shot an EP this week. RT @ruthafrita will you be back in #30ROCK season 5 ?" Julie, on the other hand, was having some trouble sleeping, tweeting, "Insomnia redux. Werewolves on the brain."

If you were a fan of the first "Camp Rock" movie starring the always lovely Demi Lovato and the always adorable Jonas Brothers, you probably don't need much convincing to catch its sequel, "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" when it debuts tonight on Disney Channel. But, the stars of the song-and-dance fest were more than willing to provide a few good reasons to catch the TV movie, when MTV News caught up with them at the flick's New York City premiere.
"We have two camps this time—Camp Rock and Camp Star—and we kind of just battle it out to see who wins," explained star Jasmine Richards. "There's a lot of cool, fun songs and dances."

Summer may be drawing to a close, but camp is in session for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato as they head back into the woods for "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," debuting on Disney Channel, Friday, Sept. 3 at 8/7c. If you liked the 2008 TV movie, then you'll definitely want to write home about the sequel as it's even bigger than the original. How do we know? The Jonas Brothers told us so!
When we caught up with the JoBros on the road for their summer tour, they couldn't help but gush about their upcoming flick. "I think overall, the production and the music were definitely on the next level," Joe Jonas explained. "The staging was phenomenal for the film. We were always filming somewhere different. Every other day was a new location. For us, that was really exciting because for the first one we stuck to about three different sets, and this time probably having 15, 16 different sets, for us, that was really exciting."
