TempestWhat are you doing on New Year's Eve? Whatever it is, it's probably not as cool as hanging out with offscreen BFFs Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. The "(500) Days of Summer" stars teamed up and recorded a new duet for Zooey's website, HelloGiggles, and it's basically the most adorable thing we've seen all week.

The duo covered Nancy Wilson's classic "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" in a low-production video posted to YouTube. Ever since JGL joined ZD in She & Him's "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here" music video, we've been obsessing about their mutual exploits off screen as well as on. We've been crossing our fingers for them to team up again onthe big screen, but the closest we've gotten is their hilarious Cinemash of "Sid and Nancy."

Last week, we kicked off our countdown of the Top 10 Hump Day Hotties of 2011, and with babes like Chris Hemsworth, Armie Hammer and Joseph Morgan already on the list, it may have you wondering just who else is left. Well, the wait is over. Here’s our Top 5 Hotties of the year.

5. Alexander Skarsgård, “True Blood”
His "True Blood" character, Eric Northman, is often naked, and we can’t complain. But not only did he strip away those layers this season, he also stripped away his vampy bravado, making not only Sookie fall for him, but us as well. Then again, we already were pretty sweet on him to begin with.

Ryan GoslingSad but true: Awards season sometimes isn't the most exciting time for crushy news coverage (unless, of course, you're the proprietor of a blog called F--- Yeah! Historical Biopics and/or Meryl Streep). But this year? Oh, man, this year is gonna be awesome. Because the Golden Globes nominations are in, and lo, they are fantastic. So when it comes time to tune in for the awards ceremony on January 15, you can bet we'll be keeping a watchful eye on a few key categories. Which noms have the Crush staff so psyched? Check it:

First off: Hey girl, prepare yourself for a double hit of Ryan Gosling; not only is he the rightful heir to the Sexiest Man Alive throne, he's up for best actor in a drama for "The Ides of March", and best actor in a comedy for "Crazy, Stupid, Love." (What's that? You need another reason to watch? Well, fine: Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also up for best comedy actor for his performance in "50/50.") And finally, rounding out the eye candy: Michael Fassbender, with a nomination for best actor (drama) in "Shame."

There's been a decidedly somber tone in the MTV Newsroom (centered largely around my desk) since Ryan Gosling declared his intentions with Eva Mendes by taking her on a Disneyland date back in September. And now it looks as though another of our boyfriends may be on his way to coupledom.

Us Weekly is reporting that "50/50" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt and recently divorced Scarlett Johansson were seen making out last month in New York City. (How a development of this magnitude remained underwraps for so long is a mystery of Nancy Drew proportions...)

Can we just crown Kristen Stewart "Best Kisser in the Land" right now? Honestly, the girl contributed her lips to two of the five Best Kiss nominee couples for this year's MTV Movie Awards. It can't hurt that she's been blessed with such kissable co-stars (not to mention that built-in off-screen chemistry with real-life beau Robert Pattinson), but we're still way impressed.

With her double nomination, KStew might be a shoo-in for best kisser in the imaginary solo category, but the competition is pretty stiff for the Golden Popcorn. Each nominee brings something totally different to the Lip-Lock Olympics. Let's take a look:

Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt—"Inception"
If there's such a thing as a witty kiss, this is it. Joseph's subtle play for a peck from Ellen is both adorable and sexy in a sly way. If you didn't want to steal a smooch from Joseph before, this kiss might just leave you praying for a similar sneak attack.

One time Hanukkah Hottie Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been a crush of ours for a long, long time. So we decided to it was high time to bestow upon him the honor of being this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Check out the dreamy video below, then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: L.A. native, now 30 (he literally became a man before our eyes!), grew up around the "business" as they say. His dad was news director for the Pacifica Radio station, KPFK-FM, his mom worked in politics and his grandfather was a director. Being that he's smart and all, he went to Columbia University for a bit in between acting gigs. He also runs the online production company HitRECord.

2010 was a pretty great year for movies. Leonardo DiCaprio invaded our dreams (well, more than usual), the "Harry Potter" cast geared up to say goodbye and Taylor Lautner took off his shirt (again!). So now it's time to honor all the films—and the stars—that made going to the movies so great!

The nominations for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards have been announced, and there's more than a few favorites on the list. Most notably are the eight (!) nods for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which earned more nominations than any of the other movies. That's, of course, thanks to its cast, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and, yep, Taylor, who all earned nominations for their performances. The third installment of the series also found itself in categories like Best Movie and will prove to be a double threat in the Best Kiss race, as KStew is nominated for locking lips with Robert and Taylor. Isn't she pretty much already a winner?!

It's a big day in the ABC Family—er—family, as tonight marks the return of both "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and "Make It or Break It"! The nominations for the 2011 Oscars weren't just the talk of Tinseltown today, but the Twitterverse as well! Hollywood hopped on their pages to post about which movies, actors, actresses, writers and directors they were happy to see get some love from the Academy. Naturally, there was just as much chatter about who should have been nominated, especially for "Inception" director Christopher Nolan who was inexplicably snubbed for his mind-bender. An outraged Felicia Day pondered, "Chris Nolan didn't get a director nomination?!! ARE YOU KIDDING?!" while Alyssa Milano mused about the director of the Best Picture nominee (a scene with stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, pictured) "Regarding Chris Nolan - I'm not sure how you can acknowledge the screenplay and film and not the director." However, Jaime King was a little less gentle with her wording, "Where the f*ck is Christopher Nolan's Oscar nom?!"

While some celebs couldn't wake from the "Inception" nightmare, others were simply elated for Hailee Steinfeld's dream come true. The breakout star will compete in the Best Supporting Actress category for her stellar performance in "True Grit," much to the delight of fellow famous youngster Justin Bieber. After hearing the awesome news, the singer wrote, "met at the Globes and she is super talented. CONGRATS to Hailee Steinfeld for being 14 and getting nominated for an OSCAR for TRUE GRIT!"

As excited as I am to finally see "Blue Valentine" (in limited release today), I know it will come at a price to watch two of my favorite stars, Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. After all, the movie is a heartbreaking portrait of a not-so-fairytale love story, so I know I'm in for some emotional wallops. Of course, this isn't the first time moviegoers have watched the trials and tribulations of ultimately doomed couples. In fact, some of the best movies over the past 20 years have been love stories without a happy ending. The pairing of Ryan and Michelle and their on-screen estrangement in "Blue Valentine" got us to thinking about other flicks in which the characters, unfortunately, have their hearts trampled.
