Over the weekend, celebrities of all sorts settled into the uncomfortably warm temperatures of India, California, to check out buzz bands and headlining acts at the Coachella music festival, where artists like Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Kings of Leon and The Strokes took the stage. The event also gave celebrities the opportunity to don their best desert wear, which with temperatures into the 100s, was focused on cool and comfortable.

Lea Michele went short and sweet in her little, stripped polo dress, while Katy Perry went pinup chic in her big, white glasses and black and red checker print top. Rihanna wore her bright red hair big and loose and paired her denim shorts with a black tank and military jacket.

On last night's totally intense episode of "The Vampire Diaries," poor Stefan (Paul Wesley) got stuck in a tomb with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) and made Damon (Ian Somerhalder) promise to protect Elena. Damon, of course, didn't hesitate to accept, and as he walked away, Katherine hissed that Stefan had made pretty much the biggest mistake of his life.

I didn't make much of what Katherine said until this morning when I realized that I've seen this happen before. No, not in my life (if only it were that exciting), but on another show that I used to literally run home to watch every week: "Dawson's Creek." You see, today it's Stefan-Elena-Damon, but back then it was Dawson-Joey-Pacey. The latter triangle combined with Katherine's ominous words could provide some serious hints about what's to come for our favorite "TVD" threesome.

Now, on the surface "TVD" and "DC" could not be more different. "TVD" is all about vampires, action and crazy plot twists, while "DC" was firmly rooted in (human) teenage angst (although "Vampire Diaries" has no shortage of emotion!). But the two series, produced a decade apart, have one big thing in common: Kevin Williamson.

Joshua JacksonJoshua Jackson reminded us this week why we love him so much: he played "the greatest character in TV history," Pacey Witter, and held his very own Pacey-Con at last week's real-life Comic-Con. While there, he hobnobbed with his old "DC" boss, Kevin Williamson. So, was it mentioned that perhaps the "Fringe" star might make a cameo on "Vampire Diaries" one day?

"You know we actually did talk about it because the other person who writes the show with him is a woman named Julie Plec, who is also an old 'Dawson's Creek'-er and she had mentioned it somewhere in the press and I think was kind of kidding, but I think that would be hilarious," he very enthusiastically told MTV News about the prospect of showing his fangs.

Our dearest Joshua Jackson held something he called "Pacey-Con" last week, only feet away from that other con, Comic-Con. And, in a new Funny or Die video, our husband, we mean Joshua, explained why he thinks Pacey-Con is such an important cultural event. (We really don’t need an explanation — fyi — we just know it is!)

Josh bills his event as as "one of the year's biggest entertainment events… The only convention that celebrates all things Pacey Witter and 'Dawson's Creek' in the entire country." At the convention, he wears one of the infamous Pacey bowling shirts, meets the fans that devoted years to "this amazing character" and reads fan fiction, written by Josh himself.

No stranger to posing for some of the world’s most widely read magazines, model turned actress Diane Kruger graces the cover of the latest issue of Allure. Showing off why she reprised the role as the face that launched a thousand ships playing Helen in “Troy,” a very close-up shot featuring every facet of the German beauty flashes on the July 2010 cover.

Judging from this picture (and almost every one she’s taken!), looking good seems to comes easily, but as Diane reveals in the Allure interview, a gift can also be a curse. She tells the mag that in a business where stunning good looks are the driving force behind many actresses’ careers, she has had to really prove herself in order to be taken seriously.

Happy Birthday to Joshua Jackson! The man who brought us such epic performances as Charlie Conway in "The Mighty Ducks" flicks, Pacey Witter on "Dawson's Creek" (a boy who could seamlessly do any job: stock broker, chef, ship captain) and now week after week as the adorable Peter Bishop on "Fringe" (he, too, can do anything he sets his mind to: time travel, inter-dimensional espionage, whatever).

His real-life witty personality has kept us swooning for the 32 years he's been on this planet (yup, we were swooning even when we were in the womb!), and his looks have made him a Hollywood Crush favorite for ages now (or, uh, since the site's launch last year.).

When it comes to fashion with a flare, The Costume Institute Gala Benefit (better known as the MET Gala) — which, this year, is celebrating the opening of the "American Women: Fashioning a National Identity" exhibition — is never one to disappoint. It's the one time of year when the stars are really encouraged to push the envelope and take some fashion risks. To find out which stars really went all out for the gala and which ones totally missed the mark, check out or recap!

EMMA WATSON
Let's get things started with Emma Watson, who rocked one of our absolute fave looks of the night — a one-shoulder, silk white gown by Burberry, paired with strappy black heels and a clutch. Seriously, the girl was the epitome of perfection and in case you're planning to track down that dress, don't bother. It was custom made for her.

As soon as the mid-season finale of "Fringe" aired in February, we realized we'd all have to face facts about who and what Peter Bishop really is: A hottie from a parallel reality. Thank goodness the show returns tonight (yes!!) because we're so looking forward to learning much more about Peter and his strange history here on this Earth — and, uh, that other version of Earth.

Thinking about Peter (swoon!) made us reminisce about why we fell in love with Joshua Jackson all over again (you know, since he left the "Creek") thanks to his turn on "Fringe."

Check out our full ode to Josh after the jump!

So, if you haven't already caught it, there's this amazing video from "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that's been making the rounds recently on the internet. Basically, Jimmy came up with the totally awesome idea of making an exclusive club for Hollywood's hottest men (um, it's about time!), including Ben Affleck, Gilles Marini, Patrick Dempsey , John Krasinski and oh-so-many more. Of course, Jimmy's not an easygoing president, and plenty of guys get rejected, including Robert Pattinson (we know, but take it up with him, ladies) and Taylor Lautner (diss!).

While we loved his spoof, we couldn't help but feeling like Jimmy left out some very deserving men (you know, besides the aforementioned "Twilight" studs), and we figured, in the off chance the Handsome Men's Club ever gets revived, we better add in our two cents. So check out our nominees for the elite club after the jump!

In 2003, the world bid a fond farewell to the crew of the angsty TV series, "Dawson's Creek." We finally got to see if Joey (Katie Holmes) picked Dawson (James Van Der Beek) or Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and find out that Jen's ending isn't all that happy. That's pretty much the ending, without giving anything away for those who haven't seen it, in a nutshell. Now that it's seven years later, we think it's the right time to do a little reunion special, even if the entire cast has gone on to have pretty successful post-"Creek" careers.

It seems that Jen herself, Michelle Williams, agrees. "You know I was talking to Michelle the other day and she was like 'I would totally do a reunion show,'" James told MTV News. "And I was like 'Really?' She's like getting nominated for Oscars. You know it's fun to see those guys again."
