Okay, so we know that Lionsgate did a perfectly fine job casting actual actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in "The Hunger Games," but considering that the MTV Video Music Awards are thisclose and that the flick's first footage will make its debut during said ceremony, we thought it would be fun to cast the flick using—you guessed it!—some of the biggest nominees from the night.
So, here we go with "The Hunger Games: Pop-Star Edition"!

Ah, the lowly intern. Coffee fetcher extraordinaire. Mail-sorting machine. Dimly lit cubicle dweller. Glamorous, right?
Well, it can be, if you're just doing it for funsies. Get ready for this one guys: Unpaid labor is totally in, as of late. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but there is a growing trend among celebs to step down from the pedestal that is fame and join ranks at the bottom of the proverbial ladder. "90210"'s Shenae Grimes is the latest star to add "intern" to her post-Big Break résumé. Following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad, she just started a six-week stint Teen Vogue-ing it up, according to Us Weekly.
Shenae isn't the first famous face to trade in a movie set or sold-out stadium for a little slave labor. Here's a list of other celebrities who've gone the way of the intern.

It only comes but once a year and it brings joy to all those who look forward to it. Yes, Coachella will once again hit Indio, California, and this year's lineup, which was announced yesterday (and includes the likes of Cee Lo Green, Kings of Leon, Kanye West, Brandon Flowers, and many, many more), had celebs raring to go! Actress Busy Philipps cried, "Hooray! Coachella lineup has been announced! www.coachella.com --I will be there, as usual..." and "Hannah Montana" star Emily Osment announced she was, "STOKEDCHELLA!!!!!!" while actor Stephen Colletti could only muster, "oh. my. coachella." Meanwhile, Katy Perry may not be on the bill, but that won't stop her from attending, as she tweeted, "Needless to say, I'll still be there w/glowstixxxs. #coachellalineup."
While many celebs woke to the delightful news of their favorite bands playing over the course of three days, singer/actress Hilary Duff (pictured) got some rather unexpected information...about herself! The newlywed took to her Twitter to laugh off a new rumor, telling followers, "Wow what a way to wake up and find out your pregs! It's just a rumor guys! Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol."

"What's your sign?" What used to be a simple pick-up line is something of a loaded question after yesterday's news/debacle that the Zodiac signs have changed. Celebs pondered their new fates, including Steve Martin who joked, "According to the new Zodiac sign dates, I am now a Kitten" and Haylie Duff who noted, "I'm now an aquarius? I was quite comfortable in my Pisces water. Guess it's time to take a deep breath of my new air." Plenty of famous tweeters had opinions on the "new" sign Ophiuchus, including Dave Coulier who cracked, "Ophiuchus sounds like a cuss word that an alien would use in a funny sci-fi film. "The intruders have breached the air lock! Ophiuchus!"
The stars may not have aligned in 2011 for our Zodiac signs, but they sure did in Hollywood today. Miranda Cosgrove teamed up with Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo (both pictured), as she alerted fans, "Put the finishing touches on a new song today with @riverscuomo! What a great guy :)." But theirs wasn't the only awesome collaboration today, as Katy Perry stopped by "How I Met Your Mother" for her upcoming appearance. A starstruck Alyson Hannigan posted from her page, "Katy Perry is on set!!!"

With sudden floods ravaging a large portion of Australia, celebs hopped on their Twitter pages to do their part to help those suffering Down Under and send their condolences. Justin Bieber posted, "just heard about the floods in Australia. to all the people out there i send you my prayers. #staystrong" as Miranda Cosgrove wrote, "The people that have been affected by the floods in Australia are in my heart tonight <3" Elsewhere, Sophia Bush (pictured) posted information on ways to donate to relief efforts, when she tweeted, "This is so sad. Please lend a hand to help those affected in the Queensland floods in Australia- www.qld.gov.au/floods or call 1800219028" and later added, "In Australia during this flood, stranded animals need help too. http://tiny.cc/9gqcl donate at http://tiny.cc/35g5p."
In addition to the tragic floods, today was certainly a memorable one because of the date itself: 1/1/11. Stephanie Pratt posted," 1-11-11!!!! Time to make wishes everyone!!! Hope they come true!!" and Elliott Yamin tweeted, "Happy 1's all across the board yall!! #1/11/11 #1-11-11." Meanwhile, Demi Moore got her timing down right when she noticed, "Nice it is 1 11 11 on 1 11 11" but Jesse Tyler Ferguson did not, "1/11/11 11:12 AM. Crap, I missed it."

Snooki: "Jersey Shore" star, hair bump enthusiast, published author. No, one of these things is not unlike the others, Ms. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi (pictured) has released her very first book called "A Shore Thing"! Snooks took to her Twitter to thank the people who actually picked up the, er, literature, and posted, "Loving the feed back on what you guys think of the book as you read the chapters ! You guys are great :)" Elsewhere, former "America's Next Top Model" winner Cari Dee English had her own take on Snooki's latest venture, "As long as Snooki doesn't do a single."
While Snooki may not be releasing an album anytime soon, we're grateful for Josh Groban's latest...even if it is a fake one. The singer stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to "promote" his latest effort, as host Jimmy Kimmel explained from his Twitter, "Josh Groban has a new album out, he's been doing some interesting things... " Turns out, that interesting thing is a skit in which Josh croons some of Kanye West's most memorable tweets (example: "Fur pillows are hard to actually sleep on.") The singer then made an equally funny plea from his page, "It was an honor to sing these. I sincerely hope he doesn't lash out at me with sick floetry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Axzxe1a78E"

Happy New Year to the best readers in the world! (Psst, that means you!) While we were busy watching the ball drop (and watching Snooki drop in a ball), all our favorite celebs were off gallivanting around the world to celebrate the start of 2011. Some of them partied it up in Las Vegas while others headed outside of the country to ring in the new year in style.

Most adorably, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart headed to the same Isle of Wight bar they celebrated at last year, and continued to be good sports and pose with fans. We didn't call them our best couple of 2010 for nothing!
Half of Hollywood headed to Las Vegas to ring in the new year at the grand opening of Marquee Nightclub. No, seriously, everyone was there. Find out who hugged it out and who might be Hollywood's hot new young couple after the jump!

Can't we all just get along? Yeah...we didn't think so. But, really, what fun would it be if all of our favorite celebrities simply sat around braiding each other's hair and singing "Kumbya," anyway? When you're rich and famous, you're bound to make a few enemies, and this year was chock-full of stars who simply couldn't see eye-to-eye. John Mayer's big mouth got him in trouble with ex Jessica Simpson. Katy Perry apparently wasn't a fan of Lady Gaga's music and Beliebers had it out for Kim Kardashian.
With all of this tabloid fodder flying, it's hard to pick the most ferocious feud, so we're turning to you! Vote in our poll after the jump to tell us which feud was the fiercest. (Brush up on the candidates here.)

Oh sure, it's been fun to look back on 2010's biggest personalities and best-dressed celebs...but we know that today's year-end superlative is the one you've all been waiting for. Because between hookups and breakups, style and substance, is there anything better than a nice, filthy feud?
Of course not! And hooray, because this year brought us some serious celebrity drama.
First off: Kim Kardashian vs. Justin Bieber's fans. Who could forget the outrage of a Beeb-lovin' public when the teen heartthrob appeared in a saucy pictorial with Kim—outrage that eventually caught on with none other than Bill O'Reilly? (C'mon, Bill—why don't you admit that this family-values stuff is all a red herring to disguise your deep, abiding love of Bieber.)
