Kayla EwellIf you thought Vicki's return to the "The Vampire Diaries" was going to be a peaceful one, guess again. While death may have tamed her, Casper the Friendly Ghost she most certainly is not.

Yesterday we caught up with Vicki's real-life alter ego Kayla Ewell to chat about her guest appearance on "The Glades" (airing Sunday at 10 p.m./ 9 C on A&E) and talk inevitably turned to our favorite CW series and, more specifically, how Vicki has changed since joining the after-life and how her return will affect Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen).

"Did death reform her? Of course it did. But it didn’t change her completely," Kayla said. "I’m still going to be a little bit of the trouble-maker, and I kind of just don’t know any other way to be."

Who knew Justin Bieber was a closet "Vampire Diaries" fan? During the series' Comic-Con panel, Nina Dobrev and her co-stars were asked which celebs they'd love to see stop by Mystic Falls. And the answer that Ms. Dobrev gave was quite surprising.

"I know who Kevin would want," she said in a video of the panel posted to Hollywoodlife.com, referring to the long-simmering rumor that the show's creator is trying to get Taylor Swift to guest star. She then revealed that a fellow Canadian is actually angling for a spot on the hit CW vampire drama. "Justin Bieber wanted to be on our show," she said. "He did."

Shortly after she shared the news, her co-star/real-life boy toy Ian Somerhalder's phone rang. He joked, "That must be Justin Bieber."

We're not sure what sort of character Justin had in mind for the show, but we've got a few ideas up our sleeves. (Click on the image above to see our entire Justin Bieber in "The Vampire Diaries" flipbook!)

Yesterday, The CW gave us good reason to pull out our calendars when they announced the highly anticipated (at least by us!) fall premiere dates for their roster of shows, including "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Secret Circle" (September 15 for both in case you're curious!). Well, now we've got some more notable dates to add.

Warner Bros. announced today that stars from "TVD," "The Secret Circle" and more will be taking part in this year's San Diego Comic-Con, which runs July 21-24 (in other words, book your tickets now).

The sophomore season of The CW's "Vampire Diaries" was full of the requisite twists and turns we've come to expect, but executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec even outdid themselves with the closing moments of "As I Lay Dying."

Yes, we are indeed referring to the shocking, astounding, out-of-nowhere return of Jeremy's dead vampire girlfriends, Anna and Vicki. (It wasn't our No. 1 most OMG! moment for nothing!) Of course, the minute the closing credits rolled, we knew we had to call up Hollywood Crush BFF Malese Jow to dish about what we had just seen. BECAUSE ANNA IS BACK! Here's what the actress had to say about the big reveal, "TVD"'s "Bachelor" connection and Steven R. McQueen's ever-increasing adorableness.

It's clear there are two types of "Vampire Diaries" fans: Those who want to see Elena end up with stable, lovable boyfriend Stefan, and those who want to see her with his bad-boy brother Damon. And after last week's surprising season finale, it looks like Delena shippers might just get their wish.

When we sat down with star Nina Dobrev a few weeks ago, we asked you, our loyal Hollywood Crush readers for your best burning questions. In light of recent events, one seemed particularly timely: What qualities does Damon bring out of Elena and what qualities does Stefan bring out of Elena?

"Damon brings a lot of worry out of Elena," Nina said. "Damon shows up and she just tenses up because something is going to happen. It's like a countdown to 30 seconds and someone is going to die. With Stefan, whenever he's around she's just—it's almost like she melts into his arms and she feels somewhat relieved. But at the same time when you think about it, whenever the two of them are around, that means there's a little bit of trouble."

From witches to zombies, power brokers to city girls, there's a little something for everyone on the list of fall pilots. As it usually goes though, while the list of would-be series is pretty extensive (each of the big networks has ordered a batch), most of them will end up on the chopping block. So which pilots actually have what it takes to get picked up? Well, we've parsed through the titles and descriptions to find five that sound the most appealing. Check them out below and give yourself a head start on the "next big thing" (at least according to us!).

5. "Grimm" (NBC)
While there are plenty of supernatural shows running around of late, this one's got a twist. In "Grimm," characters from Grimm's fairy tales actually exist, and it's up to detective Nick Burckhardt (played by David Giuntoli, who recently starred in MTV's "Turn The Beat Around" and "Privileged"), to keep them in check.
Our Take: We love David, so we may be a little biased here, but we're very excited about this show. The concept is undoubtedly unique and we can't wait to see how it translates on to the screen. The only catch with this pilot is that NBC has also ordered another supernatural cop-drama, "17th Precinct," (minus the fairy tale element). We're guessing only one of them will make the cut, and we're hoping it's this one.

4. "Don't Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23" (ABC)
ABC has proven its worth with quirky comedies (hello "Modern Family!"), so this pilot about a naive young woman who moves to New York City, only to end up rooming with a crazy city girl is certainly something to look forward to.
Our Take: Admittedly, the premise of a small-town girl moving to New York City isn't exactly new. That being said, we're ready for a little comfort television that won't make us pull our hair out over every twist and turn (see the next pilot on this list).

Welcome back to Twitter, Demi Lovato! The singer-actress made her triumphant return to the social networking site on late Tuesday night after taking a break in November to enter rehab for emotional and physical issues. The Disney star had some good news to share when she posted, "Guess who's baaaaaaaack...!!!!!!!" Her excited followers, fans, and friends alike, welcomed Demi (pictured) back with open arms, including Kim Kardashian who told her, "OMG twitter has missed u soooo much!"

Elsewhere, if Kellan Lutz was hoping for scads of Twitter wishes on his birthday, it certainly looks as though his 26th was a very successful one. Kellan received a sweet tweet from his "Breaking Dawn" co-star Ashley Greene that read, "Happy happy birthday @kellanlutz love ya!!" as well as one from his pal, actor Ryan Rottman, who posted, "Happy Birthday to the man who created the infamous Dice game @kellanlutz!! Stay Classy."

Check out the rest of today's best celebrity tweets, including Kevin Williamson's welcome to Twitter newbie Paul Wesley and Justin Bieber introducing his wax figure to the world! Follow us @hollywoodcrush to get even more celebrity and pop culture news around the clock!

While many of our favorite shows are currently on Spring Break (boo, CW!) the developing scoop on the network's newest series is almost enough to hold us over until new episodes return.

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" alum Thomas Dekker is the latest member of Young Hollywood to sign on to the Kevin Williamson-produced "Secret Circle," TVLine reports. Thomas will steam things up opposite "Life Unexpected"'s Britt Robertson in the new series based on the popular books by L.J. Smith (who also penned "The Vampire Diaries"). As Cassie, Britt plays the new girl in town who discovers her knack for magical powers and that she belongs to an age-old coven, where teen Adam is its eldest member (and her potential love interest).

Here's some bewitching news: The CW has finally greenlit the pilot for "Secret Circle," which will re-team their superstar writer-producer Kevin Williamson with "The Vampire Diaries" author L.J. Smith for the hour-long drama.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios will join forces with writer Andrew Miller, as well as Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain, Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo, who will once again take executive producer duties.

But where is Julie Plec in all this? While she isn't on board for "Secret Circle" at the moment, it's likely she'll become part of the project in the future. (Fingers crossed!)

While there's no word yet on who will play newly discovered witch (and the key to unlocking a centuries-old battle of good versus evil), high school student Cassie, her friend—and fellow witch— Dianna, Dianna's boyfriend Adam, the evil Faye or the swoon-worthy Nick, it seems fans have been excited for months that the Williamson-CW-Smith powerhouse trio might be bringing another beloved YA series to the small screen.
