After six weeks of waiting, the "Valemont" secret is finally out. In the words of Eric (warning: this is a pretty major SPOILER if you haven't been paying attention), "They're vampires, all of them. Vampires." It always seems to be vampires these days. Of course, the vampires at Valemont University "aren't your storybook vampires," star Kristin Hager, who plays Sophie, told Hollywood Crush a couple of weeks ago. "They're sort of like a new breed of vampires."

Just like "Twilight," "True Blood," and "The Vampire Diaries," the "Valemont" vamps have their own mythology, Kristin said. "They can be out in the sun; there's no turning to ash. They don't have to drink human blood. They do have to drink blood, but it doesn't have to be human blood. They don't all have fangs — if you drink human blood, you have fangs, and if you drink animal blood, you don't have fangs."

If you've been watching "Valemont" as faithfully as we have, you know that creepy occurrences happen at the fictional university twice every Tuesday night — once before "The Hills" and once after "The City." Things have been getting stranger and stranger as freshman Sophie's (Kristin Hager, pictured below, left) been uncovering more and more clues in her quest to figure out what happened to her brother, and we have a feeling things might come to a head in tonight's episodes. "Valemont" costar Nikki Blonsky chatted with Hollywood Crush recently, but she would only give us the tiniest of hints about what's going to happen (and you'll have to wait until the end of the blog for that).

The 20-year-old "Hairspray" star plays Sophie's high-energy roommate, Poppy, who last week helped Sophie steal Sebastian's (Dillon Casey) key to the secretive Panthera house. In real life, Nikki said she's not nearly as perky as her "Valemont" character.

Last week we heard from Kristin Hager, who plays Sophie on MTV's newest Tuesday night series, "Valemont." This week, Hollywood Crush caught up with another coed, Eric Balfour, who plays Sophie's older brother (uh, also named Eric) on the supernatural drama. Eric called us from his Texas hotel room, where he's staying while shooting a western, to give us the scoop on his "Valemont" character, dealing with a new model of television, and what to expect in upcoming episodes.

As "Valemont" followers will know, Sophie is using Eric's cell phone, which is full of mysterious videos and text messages, to figure out the circumstances behind his mysterious death. Eric the actor described Eric the character as "a guy who is sort of always been in and out of trouble. When the opportunity arises to go to Valemont University and maybe discover some of the truth behind his own family's legacy and maybe his own family horror, he goes for it. I don't want to say too much!"

Have you been keeping up with MTV's newest series, "Valemont," every Tuesday? You're forgiven if you haven't — you could've mistaken it for a Verizon Wireless commercial, since the phone company teamed up with MTV for the project and each two and a half minute episode begins with a video, voicemail, or text message — as long as you start watching the addicting show immediately. The already-aired eight episodes are online so you can catch up for the two episodes that will air next week, one before "The Hills" and one after "The City."

For the unfamiliar, "Valemont" is about Sophie (Kristin Hager, pictured), an 18-year-old girl who decides to investigate her older brother Eric's (Eric Balfour) mysterious death. "He's really all she has in life, so she decides to go incognito and take on a new identity and go to this prestigious university, which is the last place he was seen alive," Kristin told Hollywood Crush.
