We were already very much enjoying the hand dealt to us by the fun film "Monte Carlo"—featuring lush Parisian landscapes, a plethora of sexy European gentlemen, and not one, but two Selena Gomez-es. (Or is it Gomii?) But now, just in time for tomorrow's release of the movie on DVD and Blu-ray, we've got another reason to get giddy about this cinematic case of mistaken identity: an EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes featurette showing exactly how Selena made her backstage switcheroo from one role (as a casual American summerer) to the other (as a sophisticated English socialite.) Hint: cowboy boots, scarlet nail polish and a ubiquitous updo are involved.

Selena's double-sided performance makes up the backbone of the movie, also starring Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester, about a trio of friends whose post-graduation jaunt to Paris turns into a wild misadventure in exotic Monte Carlo. (Apparently, being a dead ringer for a bratty British heiress has its advantages...for instance, being invited to all the good parties and getting a free, giant diamond necklace to wear while you're there.) And after getting this sneak peek at Selena's transformation—not to mention that shaggy-haired hottie with the unplaceable accent—we'll definitely be queuing this one up for the weekend.

If you’ve seen the trailer for "The Change Up," you know the raunchy comedy is all about two best friends (played by Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman) who wish they had each others' lives and then suffer the consequences when that wish comes true. That cinematic switcheroo got us thinking: What would Hollywood be like if people could really swap lives? Here are our picks for some crushworthy celeb change-ups and predictions for what their careers would be like if our wishes were to come true.

We have to admit, we are a little jealous of the ladies of "Monte Carlo." Not only did Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy get the pleasure of hanging around "Glee" heartthrob Cory Monteith all day, they got to do it in Paris and Monte Carlo!

The cast spent two months overseas shooting the flick (out today), but it seems like the fun didn’t end when the cameras stopped rolling.

"It was fun both on and off [screen]," Leighton said. "A lot of what was happening on screen was just an extension of the fun we were having outside."

"It was really cool to experience all those places for the first time," Selena added.

So out of all these amazing locales, which one was their favorite? Paris, of course!

"We got up in the Eiffel Tower," Leighton explained. "But it wasn’t just go up for a trip, we got there all alone. It was just us at 5 a.m. when the sun was just rising. It was really beautiful."

Selena Gomez is having a really big week. Her new album, When the Sun Goes Down, was released on Tuesday, and her new flick, "Monte Carlo" hits theaters on Friday. In the movie, Selena plays not one, but two different characters: American teenager, Grace, and a British heiress, Cordelia—which had Selena sporting a British accent.

"I did about two weeks [of training] before the film," Selena said of perfecting the accent. "It was really fun. I was really nervous."

Selena stars alongside "Gossip Girl"'s Leighton Meester and "Glee" star Cory Monteith—who obviously got the tough job of having to work with these gorgeous leading ladies.

"[You're] going to hang out with a bunch of hot chicks in Europe—sign me up!" Cory said with a laugh, about what attracted him to the role.

But this cast isn’t just good-looking, they're pitch-perfect singers as well—a talent they practiced plenty on set.

"We sang a lot," Selena said of her sing-a-longs with her co-stars. "I feel like we were very annoying to people on set," Leighton added.

So whose songs did they decide to sing?

We've been adoring fans of Jason Sudeikis for a long time—ever since he first appeared in the background of a "What's Up With That?" sketch on "SNL," doing what can only be described as The World's Most Special Dance. But our love for Jason was also imbued with longing and sadness, because we could only ever see him a paltry once a week on NBC. But now that he'll be hosting the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, Jason is popping up all over the place! All the time! It's amazing! And as you can see in this promo video, you never know where he might appear next:

That's leggy Leighton Meester in the dentist's chair—no doubt prepping her pearly whites for this year's awards, where she's nominated for Best Villain. But that's no dentist who's dropping in for a visit; it's Jason! He's got charm, he's got charisma, and...he's got nitrous oxide. And he's not afraid to use it.

Chic meets geek? Word on the street is that "Gossip Girl" fashionista Leighton Meester and adorable actor Justin Long might be (dare we say it?) a thing. We didn't see it coming either, but the more we think about it, this could be totally adorable—and besides, since when do PDA lie?

People reports that the pair were spotted holding hands (go ahead, let your inner fourth grader gasp) at La Poubelle in Hollywood where they were dining together. And we're not talking buddies grabbing a quick bite to eat—according to reports, the meal lasted for two hours and Leighton and Justin hung around the restaurant until after midnight. Long dinner. Late night. Sweet-but-subtle PDA. If it looks like a date and acts like a date, right?

The down-to-earth stars kept their (alleged) date fan-friendly, an onlooker reported. "They were happily willing to talk to fans who approached them."

There are really only two things you need to know about the upcoming movie "Monte Carlo." It takes place in beautiful international locations and it features an all-star cast that includes Cory Monteith, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy. I mean talk about a winning combination!

Still, when MTV News caught up with the stars of the flick (due in theaters this July), they all had plenty of reasons as to why "Monte Carlo" will be a good bet for a night out at the movies.

Cory, looking sexy in his shades, welcomed us to the set and then sat down to discuss what he thinks the film is all about. "[It's] a tale of stolen gems and teenage hi-jinks," the actor explained. Then, perhaps realizing he wasn't on the set of "Glee," corrected himself and said with a smile, "Young adult hi-jinks!"

Those hi-jinks, as Cory put it, really begin when three friends from Texas (Selena, Leighton and Katie) have their vacation turned upside down thanks to—as Leighton, explained to us—"a big case of mistaken identity."

Have you ever found yourself torn between your love for the high fashion of "Gossip Girl" and the whimsy of "Wizards of Waverly Place"? It's okay, we have too. Thankfully, Hollywood has come up with the answer in "Monte Carlo," which stars three of our absolute faves: Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.

It's pretty much a dream come true, right?

In the trailer, our three leading ladies star as friends on a post-graduation trip to Paris, where Grace (Selena's character) meets her super-wealthy doppelganger named Cordelia (meaning Selena pulls double duty in this flick, sometimes with affecting a hoity–toity accent). The group's trip is off to a terrible start (crummy hotel room, worst tour ever and lots of rain—yuck!) until Grace takes Cordelia's place in a very "Prince and the Pauper" turn of events. After that, it pretty much turns into the European vacation you've always dreamed of. If only we didn't have to wait until July to tag along.
