Hollywood Crush has moved! come with us to mtv news »

Okay, so we've loved Lizzy Caplan for years and years—ever since she played the nemesis of Regina George in "Mean Girls" and delivered one of the most quotable smackdowns in recent cinematic history ("I am so sorry Regina. Really, I don't know why I did this. I guess it's probably because I've got a big *lesbian* crush on you! Suck on THAT!"). So when we spied her in the trailer for the sure-to-be-perfect "Bachelorette," a dark comedy starring four of our favorite ladies that's one of the most-anticipated movies this year, we were understandably psyched. But if you've been holding out on adding Lizzy to your list of Hollywood ladycrushes, here's one more reason: She's this week's Style Superstar!

Lizzy's look at the Swiss "Bachelorette" premiere this week was unconventional and stunning—a deep emerald-green dress with a daring plunge at the front, paired with smoky makeup, a simple pendant and intricate leather cage sandals that made a statement of their own. Not only does this dress win points for reminding us in the best possible way of Keira Knightley's evening gown from "Atonement" (and let's be honest, it could win on those grounds alone), but it's a bold choice for an actress who's only just emerging as A-list material, establishing Lizzy as a serious beauty with a bold sense of style on the red carpet. Here's hoping she keeps bringing her fashion game.

Malin Akerman plays a Rolling Stone writer in the musical ode to leather pants and gravity-defying hair known as "Rock of Ages," but the actress could have just as easily portrayed one of the film's chanteuses, thanks to her time as a frontwoman for an alt-rock band. Malin sat down with MTV News to discuss her musical past and how the power ballads hit close to home.

"I kind of stumbled upon a couple of Italian boys who were musicians, and they asked me to write some lyrics for them and that turned into, 'Why don’t you front the band?’ which is crazy because I’d never sang before in my life,” Malin explained of her foray into the world of rock 'n' roll. (We, for one, would like some detailed instructions on how to casually “stumble upon” a group of Italian musicians.)

Ashley GreeneWhen it comes to punk rock cinema, the usual vibe is usually more "gritty" than "pretty"—but upcoming rock-historical flick "CBGB," about the famous New York venue and its influence over an entire generation of music-loving club kids, is certainly circling a very lovely leading lady.

Variety reports that Ashley Greene is in talks to join the cast of the film as Lisa Kristal, daughter of club owner Hilly Kristal and the woman whose sharp mind and business savvy helped keep the operation afloat in its troubled final years. (Then again, if we were Lisa Kristal —who's co-producing the indie flick about her father's legacy—we'd probably want a super-hot actress to play us, too.)

This week's After Hours with MTV News' Josh Horowitz invites a whole lot of questions. Questions like: where, what, or who is "Snowy River"? And why is Malin Akerman abusing Josh's lapels whilst shouting about betrayal? And was there something in the water at the Sundance Film Festival last month?

The answers are out there! Somewhere! But don't look for them in this star-studded promo for a new (non-existent) series that will rival "Twin Peaks" for mysterious monsters, non sequitur dialogue and young brunette actresses staring vacantly into the camera—and don't expect us to know anything, either. All we can say about the mysterious "Snowy River" is that...

From Drew Barrymore to Christina Applegate, the stars stepped out in their finest last night for the L.A. premiere of "Going The Distance". Check out our fashion recap below to see which gals (and guys!) impressed us and which ones left something more to be desired.

Drew rocked her best last night in a golden Catherine Malandrino dress paired with a black belt. We thought the dress gave her some added glow and her hair looked fab (although we definitely weren't fans of the platforms!). Drew was joined on the red-carpet by co-star and soon-to-be mom Christina who wore a demure (and quite lovely!) violet dress. We loved the color and her simple up-do.

One of the films we have been most excited for out of Sundance was the Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin-starring "The Romantics," which follows seven college friends as they reunite for one of their weddings. After seven months of waiting, we finally have a trailer for the film's wide release, out in limited release on September 10.

If Katie and Anna's names weren't enough to get you intrigued, the film also stars Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Dianna Agron, Adam Brody and Candice Bergman. Glad we've got your attention.

Nikki Reed And Debora Ann WollIn many ways, "The Twilight Saga" and "True Blood" have nothing in common with each other, except, it seems, for their leading actresses penchants for starring in indie dramas together. According to Deadline, Nikki Reed (aka "Twilight's" Rosalie Cullen) and Deborah Ann Woll (aka "True Blood's" Jessica) have joined the cast of "Catch .44."

For Deborah, it will be a little something of a family reunion, considering she will be reteaming with her former "True Blood" castmate Lizzy Caplan, but the move gives both the young actresses a chance to work with some grade A talent. Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker and Malin Akerman (OK, she's not grade A, but we did love "Watchmen," so whatever) already jumped on board the cast last month. It also gives them all a great opportunity to meet 50 Cent, who is apparently exec. producing the project.

When you think of Hollywood's hottest hard bodies, funny man Vince Vaughn probably isn't at the tip-top of the list. But when MTV News caught up with the actor in Bora Bora while promoting his upcoming comedy "Couples Retreat" (out tomorrow), he made it clear he's okay with doffing his top for a role. "I'm a servant to my craft," Vince deadpanned. "If the scene calls for it, I'm going to do it, and thankfully diet and exercise are high on my list."

Smelling something fishy—and not from the tropical waters—costar Malin Akerman had her own question for Vince. "What kind of exercise?" she asked, laughing.

As Vince sees it, an exercise regimen is a lot like maintaining an elite automobile. "You don't take a car out and drive it at 100 mph every day," he said. "You're going to burn that car out. Take the car out maybe twice a week." Hmm... somehow I don't see an exercise video gig anywhere in Vince's future.

Click play on the hilarious clip below to get more questionable exercise tips from Vince.

As you may have read yesterday, MTV News had the enviable task of traveling to tropical Bora Bora to interview the stars of the upcoming comedy "Couples Retreat" (out Friday). As interviewer Josh Horowitz notes in the clip below, the true mark of a good couple is knowing stuff about each other (clearly). So how much do Malin Akerman, Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Jon Favreau and Kristin Davis know each other? About enough to win a toaster oven on the "Newlywed Game."

Kristen B. is clearly the champ here, not only knowing which iconic series Jason made his acting debut on ("Little House on the Prairie") but scoring two bonus points by remembering that director Peter Billingsley also made an appearance on the drama.

The premiere of a tropical island-set movie calls from some breezy, bright fashions, wouldn't you agree? Perhaps sensing our wishes, the stars of the upcoming "Couples Retreat" broke out their sunny style for the movie's premiere last night at Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California.

Star Kristen Bell (who is also the focus of this week's Star Gazing) was undoubtedly the best dressed of the night, looking almost angelic in her ice blue Marchesa minidress and champagne-colored Christian Loubotin pumps. Toned and tanned costar Malin Akerman also shined in a strapless minidress, this one from Thakoon, boasting a bright yellow bustier and nude, ruched skirt. Fellow "Couples" wife Kali Hawk took a darker approach to the red carpet, showing off her gams in a black metallic Altuzarra with a slit up to there. Sadly, fourth wife, "Sex and the City" star Kristin Davis, didn't make it out for the big night (but don't forget to check out the few details she spilled about the upcoming sequel here).
