With today marking the release of the highly anticipated Michael Jackson movie “This Is It,” we here at Hollywood Crush wanted to find a way to help you honor the music legend. Halloween is just three days away, so we thought we would extend our Dress Like A Movie Star Week to pay tribute to (respectfully, of course) the always-groundbreaking MJ. While you could always do a group costume inspired by the spooky fun undead from the classic “Thriller” video, we also wanted to help you capture some of Jackson’s other iconic looks.

There’s no one at a party who won’t instantly recognize (and scream for) you dressed to the nines as MJ from the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards (see a photo after the jump). The great thing about these costumes? They’re unisex, so ladies and gents, it’s time to step up and give the King of Pop some props this Halloween.

Paramount is starting its search for a new "Footloose" director today after Kenny Ortega (pictured with Zac Efron) announced he was leaving the project over the weekend.

According to Variety, Kenny's publicity department issued a statement saying, "Coming off the extraordinary project, Michael Jackson's `This is It,' director Kenny Ortega has decided it is premature for him to commit to his next film and will not be moving forward with 'Footloose' as previously reported."

Sources close to the project said there were disagreements between Kenny and Paramount over "tone and budget." The director, who choreographed the "Dirty Dancing" Broadway musical, wanted to make "Footloose" a $30 million film with elaborately-staged musical numbers, which (coming from someone who has seen the musical on stage) seems to be a big screen version of his Broadway vision.

During his recent cover story on Nylon Guys, Zac Efron talked about his upcoming films, “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud” and “Me and Orson Welles,” as well as dealing with “High School Musical” fame. In the video footage of the shoot, Zac talked less about his work and more about who he is as a person.

“Cassandra, from ‘Wayne’s World.’ Tia Carrere. That was my celebrity crush growing up,” Zac admitted, after sharing how star struck he was over meeting Jim Carrey for the first time.

Topshop Eek T-ShirtFROM BUZZWORTHY: Maybe it’s because “Disturbia” is my all-time favorite Rihanna song or because we’re all feeling nostalgic for Michael Jackson classics and “Thriller” is the all-time greatest video ever, but Topshop’s scarifiying “Eek” t-shirt scares up allusions to zombies and other creepy, crawly things that go bump in the night. And hot vampires, speaking of "New Moon." (Eek! You could so wear this to the "New Moon" premiere!)

Brooke ShieldsFROM MTV.COM:Standing before the crowd at the Staples Center, a teary-eyed Brooke Shields remembered not the Michael Jackson that the world knew, but the Michael Jackson that she knew — the Michael who, like her, began his career as a child and had to grow up quickly in the spotlight. But the two managed to be kids when they were alone, despite what anyone else thought of their relationship.

"Thinking back to when we met and the many times that we spent together and whenever we were out together," Shields, who met Jackson when she was 13, said, "there would be a caption of some kind, and the caption usually said something like 'an odd couple' or 'an unlikely pair,' but to us it was the most natural and easiest of friendships."

Jennifer HudsonFROM MTV.COM: During a day of star-powered speeches and world-class performances at Michael Jackson's public memorial in Los Angeles, Oscar- and Grammy-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson appeared at the Staples Center in front of a packed crowd to cover one of Jackson's hits from the 1990s, "Will You Be There."

The track originally appeared on MJ's 1991 Billboard-topping album, Dangerous. The album went platinum seven times and stayed on the chart for 117 straight weeks. The biggest single, "Black or White," went platinum and also hit the top Billboard spot. But "Will You Be There" became most well-known when it appeared on the soundtrack for the 1993 movie, "Free Willy," about one boy's struggle to save an orca whale. The movie grossed almost $80 million at the box office, the track reached as high as #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and went gold.

FROM MTV.COM: "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale is still stunned by Michael Jackson's unexpected death last week. Only a day before he died, Jackson was rehearsing for his upcoming 50-date London concert series with "High School Musical" director Kenny Ortega.

And though the 23-year-old actress and singer wasn't even born when Thriller came out, she told MTV News that Jackson was a big influence on her music and the work of her "HSM" castmates.

"I've loved Michael Jackson, his music, his music videos," Tisdale said. "I mean, the man made music videos what they are today. So, I've always been inspired by him. I think he's such a great dancer.

Ed AlonzoAmidst the looping music videos, celebrity remembrances, and fan farewells celebrating the too-short life of Michael Jackson, an interesting side note came to light. The King of Pop had commissioned magician Ed Alonzo to work on his upcoming "This Is It" 50-show run in London. Don't worry if the name Ed Alonzo doesn't immediately ring a "bell," it didn't with me either. After several "that guy looks so familiar" moments it finally hit me: The illusionist played Max — as in the owner of the Bayside gang's favorite hangout, The Max — on "Saved by the Bell"! How did Ryan Seacrest get through an entire interview without mentioning this pertinent detail?

As it turns out, the former "Bell" actor has been keeping busy with his magic trade. We even caught up with him earlier this year while working on Britney Spears' "Circus" tour. Since the sudden and untimely death of the '80s icon, Alonzo has been making the rounds describing his final rehearsal with Michael and the over-the-top illusions, including a floating orb and burning bed, that were to be part of The King of Pop's final curtain call. Michael JacksonFROM MTV.COM:Michael Jackson is a pop-culture legend because of his groundbreaking work in music and movies and his visionary music videos. But Jackson, who died Thursday in Los Angeles, will also be remembered for his eccentric, creative and sparkling sense of style.

Just as his music and dancing have influenced today's young artists, from Justin Timberlake to Chris Brown, Jackson's style has also had an impact on many artists as well.

Jackson first burst onto the scene in the 1960s alongside his brothers in the Jackson 5. At the time, it was all about bright colors, bell-bottoms and printed tops. The guys kept up the look with a few tweaks here and there throughout much of the 1970s, including their signature Afros.

True Blood and TwilightFROM MTV.COM:By a stroke of luck (or, perhaps, fate), MTV was fortunate to launch just before Michael Jackson went supernova.

Back in 1981, he wasn't yet a global brand or a cultural icon — he wasn't even the King of Pop. Rather, he was just ascending to the throne. He'd had some hits (1972's "Ben," the first two cuts — "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and "Rock With You" — from 1979's Off the Wall), and he was ready to forever distance himself from his early years with the Jackson 5, but no one knew what to expect from him next.
