Breaking news! One huge teen pop sensation hates an extraordinarily popular vampire teen film series. Or, translated, Miley Cyrus hates "Twilight."

And she doesn't just kind of hate it. She loathes it.

"I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. ... I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching my TV at night. I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it," she told radio station Q92 in a backstage interview after her Cleveland show.

Miley Cyrus is leaving her sometimes goofy character of Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana behind to play Ronnie, the musical prodigy of divorced parents, in the new Nicolas Sparks movie, "The Last Song." The trailer was just released, and in it, Miley seems to be attempting to make a legitimate move as a real Hollywood player.

Ronnie spends a summer with her estranged dad, who doesn’t seem to get her (especially because she doesn't want to go to Julliard), and — bonus! — meets a hottie local (Liam Hemsworth). Eventually, the family starts to mend any misunderstandings that may be lingering, and Ronnie and her dad even start to bond. Plus, Miley falls in love with said local, who apparently is a volleyball player with his eye on the Ivy League.

With the trailer for Miley Cyrus' Nicholas Sparks-penned movie, "The Last Song," set to debut tonight, the singer/actress is giving fans a sneak peek of it with the release of a few stills from the film.

The photos of her and rumored beau and hater of Twitter, Liam Hemsworth, are pretty hot and heavy. In one, Miley as Veronica "Ronnie" Miller is seen sitting on the beach with Liam's Will Blakelee, sharing a laugh with a baseball bat in her hand. We repeat: she's holding a baseball bat.

Fans will have to wait until next year to see all the crazy shenanigans that Miley Cyrus will get herself into for her cameo in the "Sex and the City: The Movie" sequel, but she's already dishing about her cameo in the film, where she plays the easiest role of her life: herself!

"It was the best job I've ever done," she told Ryan Seacrest when she spoke to him on his radio show on Friday. "It was a total dream come true."

It's been an interesting year for "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. In February, the 16-year-old was sued for "racist" photos that depicted the teen star slanting her eyes, mocking Asians. She raised eyebrows again in August when she performed a pseudo-pole dance atop an ice cream cart at the Teen Choice Awards. Then there was that time she quit Twitter. It's hard to believe these crazy happenings didn't play a role in her latest dubious distinction: being voted "Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009" by AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website.

Miley beat out second place-finisher Britney Spears (who admittedly had a fairly respectable 2009) and Kanye "I'm going to let you finish" West, who came in third. In an interesting twist, Miley also walloped fellow Disney princess Vanessa Hudgens in the poll, even though the Wildcat has had not one, but two naked photo controversies of late. Funny what tween/teens will forgive, huh? Where is Chris Brown on this list?

OK, we have to give it to Miley Cyrus. The "Hannah Montana" star did a pretty good job of keeping mum about her "rumored" appearance in the "Sex and the City" movie sequel. But she couldn't keep us in the dark for long! After countless "no comments" from the Disney star, we've finally uncovered the truth — thanks to some telling pictures from the set of the movie.

The pictures reveal Miley (who will reportedly play herself) posing alongside resident femme fatale Samantha Jones (played by the bold Kim Cattrall). The best part? They're wearing the same outfit … and we're talking head-to-toe same. That's right, Sam and Miley are rocking the red carpet in matching sequined dresses and brown boots. They're even wearing the same studded belt. The only disparity seems to be the jewelery, Miley's wearing a spiky dog collar, while Samantha's look is a little more grown-up with a large stoned necklace.

If anyone could be the male counterpart to Miley Cyrus when it comes to epic tweeting, it has to be John Mayer. The dude loves to tweet. And tweet. And Tweet. But he totally understands why Miley made the decision to leave the site. And, he supports her choice, even if he wouldn't make the same one.

"I think she's smart enough to realize there is some interference of the brain that she doesn't want to deal with. Artists have enough to deal with," John told MTV News' Tim Kash. "She's a child, she's a fantastic artist — I think there's enough mental real estate being taken up by dealing with all of that stuff. ... For whatever reason, I am old enough and smart enough to tell someone to go f--- themselves if they tell me to go f--- myself. I think if you're in Miley's situation, it might take a little too much time to play goalie for your own heart and mind. So I totally get it."

Miley Cyrus stopped by Wisconsin's Kiss 103.7 radio yesterday to dish about deleting her Twitter account, Taylor Swift's VMA moment (you know, the one that Kanye interrupted... there's no chance you forgot about that, right?) and the controversy behind her pole dancing performance at the Teen Choice Awards.

The "Hannah Montana" star, who deleted her Twitter account last week, said she didn't say hasta la vista to the site because of "The Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth. So, why did she do it? Well, for one, she was over it.

"I was kind of just like over tweeting about what I was doing instead of actually doing it." Miley, who said she didn't use Twitter to promote herself or her albums, also realized that she wanted to keep things, like hanging out with the fam, a little more private.

Say it ain't so, Miley! Just as we mentioned earlier today, Miley (and her
Mom) quit the social networking site
. Fans and celebrities have already cried out for her return. John Mayer wasted no time in cracking a (pretty darn funny, if you ask us) joke about
the great Miley debate. John posted, "Welcome displaced refugees from Miley's Twitter account! I know you're very scared right now. I made you some pie? Yes. Good. Eat." Miley's big papa, Billy Ray(pictured), had a more "serious" take on her absence from the Internet, tweeting: "Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born 'Destiny Hope Cyrus' for a reason. You can't leave everyone now.We r countin on u."

Of course the news about Miley wasn't the only thing shaking up Twitter today as users found themselves frozen from the rest of the world. "Glee" star Amber Riley complained, and singer Adrienne Bailon wrote, "What the hell was wrong with Twitter??? Ugh!" Why, it's Miley-less, of course.

Check out what else celebs were bugging out about today, from Nicky Hilton's bewilderment with Snuggie ads to David Slade's rainy night on the "Eclipse" set. Don't forget to follow us @hollywoodcrush to get all the latest from MTV on all the celebrity news you need!

At the encouragement of reported boyfriend and "The Last Song" costar Liam Hemsworth
"Hannah Montana" herself Miley Cyrus deleted her popular Twitter account today. Following the tweet, "FYI Liam doesn't have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason," @MileyCyrus disappeared from the micro-blogging site, along with @MommyTish, the Twitter handle used by her mom.

Miley's near two million followers have been vocal about the Disney star deleting her account, posting Tweets like "!!! nooo!!! she can't delete her twitter!!!! twitter IS miley cyrus!!" and "I can not believe that Miley Cyrus deleted her twitter account." In fact, #mileycomeback is the top trending topic on Twitter right now.

In memory of the "7 Things" singer's funny, frank (and sometimes way too personal) 140-words-or-less missives, we've rounded up our favorite seven tweets (after the jump) from the songstress' seemingly too-short time on the social networking site. R.I.P.@MileyCyrus, we miss you already!
