For weeks, Hollywood's thespians have been a busy bunch, from a slew of awards ceremonies to the Sundance Film Festival. But this weekend, the spotlight will be on the music industry's best and brightest with the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. And, unsurprisingly, Twitter was humming today with Grammy preparations. Paramore singer Hayley Williams spent a little extra time in the shower this morning, tweeting, "Well.... finally shaved my legs. I figured with the Grammys and all this weekend it was probably a good idea." Meanwhile, model and "Dancing With the Stars" alum Joanna Krupa decided to get her swag on. "Getting ready to go to the grammys gifting suite for kiss fm with sis," she wrote. Sadly, not all of our favorite divas will be at the ceremony. "Unfortunately I will be missing the grammy's this year because of European tour (production rehearsals) sadness :(" Kelly Clarkson tweeted.
Thankfully, the forecast for Sunday's fete is much less gloomy than it was for the Golden Globes a few weeks ago, but for celebs around the rest of the country, the outlook wasn't as sunny. And not all of them were prepared. "Just landed in Nashville. It's snowing and I forgot my coat. Good thing Vampires are supposed to be cold," wrote "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli. "Star Trek" star Simon Pegg was more worried about his furry friend, writing, "Walking my freshly shorn dog. It's freezing. I'm worried she might be cold. They went in close around her derrier. No furry knickers now."

Not only are they beautiful, intelligent and super speedy, but as it turns out, vampires are also quite a giving bunch. In the wake of Haiti's catastrophic 7.0-magnitude earthquake earlier this month, "Twilight" stars have come out in full force to aid the cause. Robert Pattinson (beard, and all) made a plea for contributions during MTV's "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon, while costars Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick answered phones. Tinsel Korey took to MTV.com to voice her support for the telethon and Kellan Lutz was spotted donating a basket-full of clothes to a donation center. Now, fans can bolster their efforts simply by going out to a ball game.
"Twilight" stars Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Tyson Houseman are teaming up for a special round of Cajun-Style Vampire Baseball in New Orleans on March 20 to aid relief efforts in Haiti. The cast will pitch against a slew of Big Easy celebrities including New Orleans Saints players Kyle Eckel and Lynell Hamilton, in addition to vamp movie veteran Wayne Douglas Morgan, who starred in "The Vampire's Assistant."

The Coachella festival was announced just yesterday and already music-loving celebs are counting down to the three-day event in Indio, California this April. And how could they not be psyched with a lineup that includes, among many diverse acts, Jay-Z, Vampire Weekend and Muse? Paris Hilton tweeted, "I'm so Excited for Cochella! The line up is dope!" and "Hills" star Lo Bosworth joined in on the excitement, singing, "coachella ella ella is in 86 days. woo hoo!"
Of course, Coachella isn't the only thing we're counting down for, not when "Eclipse" is on the horizon. Drector David Slade filled in fans on the movie (and the trailer's) progress, "to clear this up, the Trailer is out of my hands, I would love to release one but its down to Summit. I don't know when." He also posted, "Edit getting finer and finer, film now running at a great length." While David is busy editing "Eclipse," Peter Facinelli had an idea for his fellow castmembers, "Thunder is cracklin' here in LA... Good day for some Cullen baseball." They'll just have to make sure to wish Daniel Cudmore (pictured) a very happy, uh "21st," birthday, as he tweeted to followers, " All the B-day wishes have been great, thanks everyone! but I'm only 21 not 29..... weird."

Yesterday's news of the untimely death of actress Brittany Murphy came with an outpouring of grief and condolences from friends, colleagues and fans on Twitter. Ashton Kutcher, Brittany's one time boyfriend and costar in the film "Just Married," shared his heartbreak with followers, posting, "Today the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon," adding, "See you on the other side, kid."
Then today, actress Stacey Dash, who starred with Brittany (both pictured with Alicia Silverstone) in the breakout comedy "Clueless," addressed fans, "I am deeply saddened by Brittneys death. She was a bright shining light and I am sorry that we will not get to watch her grow. As an actress she was an inspiration. So good. I will always remember her laugh, it was infectious." Stacey continued, "I am SO sad
I don't want to believe it! I won't turn on the TV...Please pray for her Mother (her family)." Peter Facinelli who worked with Britt on the 2001 Drew Barrymore-dramedy "Riding in Cars With Boys" wrote of his late friend, "Brittany Murphy... U were Bold, Brave, and Beautiful. Thank you 4 being the free spirit u were, and always putting a smile on my face."

Somehow it seems unsurprising that Peter Facinelli, who got a total reboot of his career with "The Twilight Saga," would like "Breaking Dawn" to make it to the big screen. When MTV News spoke to Peter at Z100's Jingle Ball Friday, he shared a full wish-list of things he would like in regards to the fourth (and, according to him, fifth) installments of the series.
First and foremost, Pete would like to see this novel split into two films. "I would love to have them break it into two parts because it's such a thick book," he said. "I think that'd be fantastic to split into two, 'cause there's so much information. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will be good."

What can die-hard "New Moon" fans do after they've finished watching the movie for oh…lets say the 10th time in a row? Look forward to the next one of course! Stars from "New Moon" recently revealed their favorite scenes from the upcoming "Eclipse" to MTV News.
So what can fans look forward to? Well for one, they can expect to learn a lot more of the Cullens. Nikki Reed said that "Eclipse" will delve into her character Rosalie's tragic backstory with a sequence from the 1930s. "I think they want to see the Cullens' history. It gives me the opportunity to explain myself," said Nikki.

Our trip down memory lane with "New Moon" costume designer Tish Monaghan continues today when we take a sartorial magnifying glass to the wardrobes of the Cullen family and boy wonder Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Don't miss yesterday's look at Edward's and Bella's costumes either!
THE ENRICHED CULLENS
We know those Cullens are basically perfect, but one modification was made to the family’s closet for "New Moon." "Chris wanted to stay away from them looking as pastel as they did in the first film," Tish explained. “He thought they stood out too much. So he wanted them more of the world, but set apart within the color palette — so, just in cool colors.” Here, Alice (Ashley Greene, left) wears a blue dress by Rebecca Taylor and Rosalie (Nikki Reed, right) wears an Eli Tahari design.

"New Moon" has now earned it's place in box office history — as the movie with the third-biggest opening weekend of all time (with $140.7 million and still going). It's obvious to us (as it has been!) that this franchise has thus earned a permemant place in your hearts.
We've kind of been getting a bit of "Twilight" fever over here at MTV (can you blame us?) and in turn it made us ask ourselves: what would the world look like if the characters in the movies took over every facet of entertainment? Alas our Total "Twilight" Takeover photo gallery was born. When you click on the photo of Robert Pattinson as — yes! — the King of Pop and Taylor Lautner as — yes! — Michelangelo's David (that bod is not far off from Jacob's, right?) below, you'll be transformed into a alternate universe where Esme dances to "Party in the U.S.A.," Bella rides a motorcycle...with Kristin Cavallari, and Jane attends classes with Rachel and Finn!
Crushers, where in your mind could you see the cast of "New Moon" fitting in in pop culture?

Last night, the stars of the month (or should it be year by now?), the cast of "New Moon," took their place in the New York City spotlight by attending the Cinema Society and D&G screening of the movie at the Landmark Sunshine Theater. It was originally supposed to be a "secret" event (is there really such a thing with the "Twilight" franchise anymore?), but plenty of faces from Manhattan's "elite" circles (um, hi, Ivanka Trump) were still there to support the Saga.
Just looking at the photos above (and the ones from the rest of the evening), it seems as though Kristen Stewart was somehow left off the memo that instructed attendees to "please only wear black or shades of cream tonight." Though she did show up to the carpet in a black Burberry trench coat, she eventually took it off to reveal an olive green Valentino dress. We adore the silhouette and the girly frills, but we're not super keen on the color for the actress, who looks a little washed out in it (her eyes, however, look stunning). As for Kristen's boys, both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner chose sleek black Dolce & Gabbana suits, with Rob's, of course, sans tie and unbuttoned at the top.

If there's one place vampires, werewolves and humans can co-exist peacefully, it's surely the red carpet. Love triangles, team alliances and centuries-old pacts were put aside last night to celebrate the long-awaited premiere of "New Moon" at LA's Westwood village theater. (Did you read our live blog throughout the night?) Though fans lined up for hours to get a glimpse of their favorite "Twilight" stars, we've got a fashion rundown you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home—sans earplugs.
A lot has changed for the Saga's stars since last year's premiere, including their wardrobe. Kristen Stewart eschewed her mini-dress of yore, opting instead for a floor-grazing, gray-stitched gown by Oscar De La Renta. But in signature Kristen-fashion she funked it up by adding a few bangles, smokey eyes and a messy, half up-do. Kristen's onscreen love Robert Pattinson looked every inch the movie star in a black Gucci suit, with a soft yet still-slightly tousled haircut and his token stubble.
