When Bravo's make-it-work design series "Project Runway" catwalked over to Lifetime—and the left coast—fans worried some unflattering alterations would be made to their beloved show. Thankfully, the past two episodes have allayed those fears. Even though "Project Runway" is wearing a new dress, it's the same show we've come to love, except in one delicious way: There's finally some (seemingly) straight male eye candy in the form of Seattle designer Logan Neitzel. (Special shout out to my home state!)
Now don't get me wrong. The show's bitchy, flamboyant gays like Christian Siriano and Austin Scarlett, are the underpinnings—the corsets and bustles, if you will—of the series. But sometimes a girl needs something pretty to look at ... besides the fashionable frocks. With a quiet, thoughtful sensibility and the sort of dirty, sexy looks reminiscent of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Logan's hard to resist. And it seems I'm not the only one enamored of the 26-year-old. In a two-hour special that is airing this Thursday before the premiere of the newest season of "Project Runway" — the first since its move from Bravo to Lifetime — Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman will make a cameo on the special, “Project Runway: All Star Challenge."
The special will bring together some of the show's greatest past competitors including Santino Rice, Jeffrey Sebelia, Sweet P and others, who will be competing for a $100,000 cash prize. It will also have the former contestants reuniting with Tim Gunn, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and, of course, Heidi Klum. For Nicole's part, she'll be on the show to set up one of the challenges for the contestants, reports Access Hollywood. Read more...

Well, no more. When the show kicks off its sixth season August 20 on Lifetime it will be joined by a sister series that shifts the spotlight from the designs to the catwalkers wearing them.
"Models of Runway" will chronicle highs and lows of the 16 mannequins vying for a $25,000 cash prize and a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine. The show, however, isn't a competition series in its purest sense. The models aren't being judged or given scores. In fact, judging from "PR," their only "challenge" will be walking down the runway, which means if a girl gets stuck with a dud designer, it's likely she'll be one of the first to go, talent or not. Barbie's had a busy week. First, Mattel announced they would be releasing Barbie and Ken versions of "Twilight"'s star-crossed lovers Bella and Edward. Now comes news the 50-year-old icon will be fashioned into the likeness of "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum. Forget mid-life crisis, it sounds like poor Barbie is having an identity crisis!
According to E! Online, the German supermodel's mini-me will be part of the Blonde Ambition collection, which already includes doppelgangers of Goldie Hawn and Marilyn Monroe, and will be in stores later this year. Read more...
