What's that wonderful sound, Crushers? Well, if you can get past the screams of joy from the Little Monsters, you'll hear Lady Gaga's preview of music from her upcoming album Born This Way. The singer posted from her page, "Go to gagadaily.com or perezhilton.com for MUGLER fashion+my remix of music from Born This Way album. Thank you for the amazing comments!" while Ryan Seacrest could only muster out to followers, "New. Lady. Gaga. Listen. Now."
Lady Gaga and her fans weren't the only ones with something to celebrate today. The nominations for the GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards, which recognizes excellence in the entertainment industry for the gay community, were announced today. Movie nominees included "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," "Easy A and "Burlesque," while in the television categories "Glee," "Modern Family" and "Pretty Little Liars" were recognized. The cast of "PLL" expressed their joy over the nomination, including Ashley Benson who wrote, "Pll is nominated for a GLAAD award
for best drama" while her cast mate Shay Mitchell (pictured) tweeted, "Pretty Little Liars is nominated for a GLAAD award...yeahhhh!

Rambo? Ancient history. Jason Bourne? Soooo 2008. Forget the dudely heroes of yesteryear; these days, the name of the game is ass-kicking women. This year's movie lineup was rife with smart, sexy, ultra-confident ladies who hang tough, play hard, and fight dirty...and, of course, gleefully murder the unfortunate punks who get in their way. And as we look back on 12 months of fine female leads, the 2010 year-end roundups wouldn't be complete without a countdown list of the Ass-Kickingest Females of the Year. From legitimate superheroes to intellectual heavyweights to vengeful victims, there's no question that these performances carried a serious dose of girl power.

"Welcome back, Coco!" That's what legions of fans were thinking as they watched Conan O'Brien return to late night television with his new TBS show called, wouldn't ya know, "Conan"! The funnyman tweeted to followers, "It feels great to be back. To all my fans: Thank you. You are the reason this happened. Also, now I have to change my Twitter bio. Damn you" while his trusty sidekick Andy Richter posted the stats about the show's impressive ratings, "Apparently, TBS is not that difficult to find: http://tinyurl.com/2a64obs." One person who had the best seat in the house for Conan's "second annual first show" was "Glee" star Lea Michele, a guest on last night's ep. Lea (pictured) posted that she, "Had the best time at Conan!!!!"
Even famous faces that didn't get the chance to stop by to chat with Conan enjoyed it from home. Singer/actress Kate Voegele wrote, "can't think of many things more exciting than @ConanOBrien coming back to late night...#conanreturns" while Ian Somerhalder saved the episode for today, "Conan on DVR will watch with coffee in morn." Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams also got her Coco fix today as she tweeted, "Watching Conan's season premiere online since I missed the real thing! LOLing hard already. Oh Coney Bear, I missed you. #tvcrush."

Let's face it, with the exception of "Inception," "Eclipse" and "Toy Story 3," this has been a pretty lackluster summer movie season. In fact, the most successful films of the season were sequels, animated films, remakes and 3D movies — or some combination of the four.
What's especially noteworthy is that none of those top films leaned solely on one star to do the box office heavy lifting. Now, some of the summer's latecomers, which do rely on one marquee name, are not fairing so well at the box office — not to mention taking a bit of the shine off of some of our favorite stars. The most recent film to fall into this trap was Jennifer Aniston's "The Switch," which many are predicting will be her weakest box office performance to date.
Is this the end of the former "Friends"' film career as we know it? Hit the jump to see what we think Jen's — and other summer stars' — box office bankability will be in the coming months.

One of the scariest days of the year (you know, behind Halloween and Valentine's Day) had some easily spooked and superstitious celebs jumping on their Twitter pages. "Jersey Shore" star Sammi "Sweetheart" told followers, "WOWW--TODAY'S FRIDAY THE 13TH!!! BE SAFE!!!" while "JONAS" actress Nicole Anderson posted, " It's officially Friday the 13th. And yes, I'm superstitious so yes, I will have anxiety all day."
If you plan on spending your Friday the 13th avoiding black cats and walking under ladders, you may just want to head right for the movies. Lucky for you, there's some awesome ones opening this weekend, including the highly anticipated "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World." The game-changing comic book movie got a boost on Twitter from one of its stars, Anna Kendrick (pictured, in a scene from the film), who posted, "Alright kids, Scott Pilgrim is in theaters TODAY. If this movie doesn't blow your mind, you are dead inside."

Anna Kendrick is not new to dealing with passionate fans. She has worked in all the "The Twilight Saga" films (albeit as a human instead of a supernatural creature), has a small role in the upcoming "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and has been a long time fan of "Lord of the Rings."
Fortunately, we at MTV don't allow such self-proclaimed passionate fandom to go untested, so while Anna was promoting "Scott Pilgrim," MTV News' Josh Horowitz decided to give her a little quiz to see how well she knows "Twilight" and "Lord of the Rings."

Scott Pilgrim isn't going to be showing The World how much he loves Ramona Flowers until August 13, but we decided to express our affections for "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" star Mary Elizabeth Winstead a little bit sooner. Hopefully by doing so we won't end up having to fight her long time boyfriend, writer Riley Stearns, for naming her our girl crush of the week!
First known for her performance on the small screen, Mary broke into Hollywood at age 15 by playing recurring character Jessica Bennett on the soap opera "Passions," and then starring in the short-lived werewolf thriller (opposite Paul Wesley, we might add) on the single season of "Wolf Lake."

You may not have a starring role in your upcoming film, Anna Kendrick, but you do get a chance to star in what is sure to the most beloved film of the summer. Can "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" top "Inception" in reviews and the box office? Only time will tell.
If that alone isn't enough of a great 25th birthday present, you can add to that the fact that in one quarter of a decade you've managed to accomplish more than most actors — film or stage — have accomplished in their entire career.

So yesterday may have brought some hunky (yet funny) men to the MTV News headquarters in Times Square, but today we decided to tone things down a bit and add some feminine flair. "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" star Anna Kendrick stopped by to chat with Josh Horowitz about the release of "Pilgrim" (opens August 13!), her upcoming cancer comedy with Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and we even put her "Twilight" knowledge to the test. Stay tuned to Hollywood Crush and MTV News as we roll out all the goods from Anna's interview — because if the picture below proves anything, it's that this girl has charisma!

Does anyone really need an excuse to explain why we love staring at Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera and Chris Evans sans pants? If you were hesitant at all in answering that one (an easy question, if you ask us) the answer is a resounding no. Fortunately, GQ went above and beyond their usual fun-loving spirit and gave us a good reason for it: Pantless Saturdays.
Their explanation for the three stars of "Scott Pligrim vs. The World" in all their uncensored glory involved "the might Spartans" and the idea that "Monday through Friday belongs to our bosses, Sunday to our Lord. But Saturday, if only for a precious few hours, it's all about the boys," but it doesn't matter. In fact, the picture speaks better for itself than with their explanation in my opinion, so there you have it.
