In case you ever need a weekly "The Notebook" fix it seems that Austin Nichols is proposing that you watch "One Tree Hill." The man who plays Julian thinks that his onscreen romance with Sophia Bush's Brooke Davis is very, very similar to the one that won our hearts in the Nicholas Sparks tearjerker.

“When Mark [Schwahn, the show’s creator] asked me to come back as a series regular I told him I only would if we could make a really powerful love story for Brooke and Julian," he told examiner.com. "I wanted him to give them the greatest love story. I mentioned 'The Notebook' to him. I wanted him to give them that kind of love and story, a fountainhead love. And in 'The Notebook' even when they fight, it’s how it is now for Brooke and Julian, it’s fun to watch them fight. It’s sexy. It’s inspiring.”

There are so many choices when it comes to picking out a Halloween costume that it’s almost impossible to decide. Should your dress original or classic? Do you want to be wild or conservative? Well this year, you have a little help from a few of your fave celebrities. From glammin’ it up as Barbie to roughing it as Chewbacca for a night, three leading ladies shared their most memorable costumes with MTV News!

Taylor Swift, who recently “dressed up” as character Samantha Kenny and kissed Taylor Lautner in “Valentine’s Day” (don’t worry, we're jealous!), celebrated Halloween last year by dressing up with her friend as “twin Chewbaccas.” Now that's an original costume you don't see worn by a girly girl too often.

For fans of "One Tree Hill," watching Sophia Bush make "That's What She Said" jokes on the show was a delightful experience. In fact as we mentioned earlier, Brooke Davis could easily challenge "The Office" boss Michael Scott to a TWSS-off.

So when MTV News got our grubby little hands on the star at the 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards on Sunday we had to get to the bottom of the phenomenon. "They've become this big thing," she said (and that almost felt like an invitation to TWSS her right there on the spot. We didn't, FYI.) "I'm going to have to talk to Steve Carell about it at the next award show that I see him at."

Sophia was very open to explaining just how Brooke Davis became TV's Best Female TWSS joke maker on TV. And, it seems her office is as addicted to them as the one that Carell stars in. Read more...

It seems like there's buzz around every show on the CW, except "One Tree Hill." And the irony in that is that the show actually has more viewers each week than those other heavily marketed series like "Gossip Girl" or "Melrose Place." Even so, the celebrity residents of Tree Hill — most of which have been around since moving into the town in 2003! — aren't that worried about the lack of publicity because they love what they can get away with on a show that doesn't get put under the typical TV magnifying glass all the time.

"A benefit of being sort of the ugly stepchild on the network," star Austin Nichols explained to the LA Times, is that they can "go for things" like his "passionate, 'Fountainhead'-like romance" with Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) on the show's current season.

To kick things off, let's revisit probably the best, most comedic moment of the week. It belongs to Sophia Bush for embracing her inner Michael Scott on "One Tree Hill." It seems that Miss Brooke Davis loves herself a good "That's what she said" joke. And to be honest, who doesn't?

OK so something weird is happening on "One Tree Hill" — for some reason Sophia Bush's character, Brooke Davis, is slowly morphing into "The Office" boss Michael Scott. Sure, it's hard (that's what she said!) for anyone to top Steve Carell's amazing delivery of his now infamous "that's what she said" jokes on the NBC sitcom, but Sophia is slowly coming close (that's what she said!) on "One Tree Hill."

For the past two episodes Brooke has, in our humble opinion, made some pretty funny "TWSS" jokes. In fact, they are dirtier than most we'd hear on "The Office." Did you guys catch the one from last week when she and Julian (Austin Nichols) and he asks her is she's coming (to join him for a nude swim) and she retorts under her breath, "That's what she said!"? Um, that is a ballsy (that's what she said!... yeah we can't help ourselves either) comment for a CW show, right?

It seems that more and more lifestyle brands are replacing models with celebrities as faces to represent them. With Fergie for MAC cosmetics, Lindsay Lohan for Fornarina and most recently, Hayden Christensen for Lacoste, it’s no surprise that a California-friendly line like Ocean Pacific (a.k.a. Op) has gathered a few of the hottest Hollywood stars to front its new fall line.

Op started using familiar personalities in ads for its Spring/Summer 2008 “OPen Road” campaign, which starred Kristin Cavallari, Rumer Willis, Christina Milian, Josie Maran, Pete Wentz, Corbin Bleu and Wilmer Valderrama. The original beachy lifestyle brand has now stepped up the ante with "One Tree Hill" actress Sophia Bush, Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden,"The Hills" playboy Brody Jenner, "90210" vixen AnnaLynne McCord, singer (and sister to Beyoncé) Solange Knowles and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Cody Linley.
