The end is near for camptastic Disney favorite "Wizards of Waverly Place." While we're sure we'll still see plenty of our favorites (stars Selena Gomez and David Henrie both have projects lined up post-"Wizards"), it'll be sad to see the series end. Members of the cast, including Gregg Sulkin (pictured) and Dan Benson have been all a-tweet as filming winds down. Dan hinted at a super-secretive set, tweeting, "Top secret episode of Wizards. Security guards are all around the set. I feel really important." Gregg tweeted that the soundstage was "boiling" (wonder what's making the set so hot?) and asked fans about their "Wizards" love, tweeting, "What's your favourite Wizards of Waverly Place catchphrase?"
Adrian Grenier and company worked some magic of their own recently; the actor's relentless Twitter campaign for a Webby paid off. SHFT won both the People's Choice and a Webby. Adrian tweeted the good news to the fans that helped make it happen. "Thx to u @shftdotcom won BOTH people's choice & webby award. I'm celebrating w/a majestic fountain. You? http://say.ly/bOaiCz." Pal and SHFT supporter Sophia Bush chimed in, "Thanks to each&every one of you who helped win @SHFTdotcom a #Webby. Each vote mattered & we've shown the world we care about this planet!"

Going green is something lots of our famous faves advocate year round, so we wouldn't expect anything less than extra encouragement from them on Earth Day. Today, environmentally conscience celebs used Twitter as a platform for celebrating and sharing plans for making our world a happier, healthier place. Everyone from "Pretty Little Liars"' Ian Harding (pictured) to Jessica Alba was giddy for Green today. While Ian tweeted a simple "Happy earth day!" reminder, fellow ABC Family star Megan Park took it a step further, encouraging fans to get out, even posting a nature-centric picture of herself doing the same. "Happy Earth Day! Go hug a tree
http://plixi.com/p/94860427" Jessica Alba tweeted a request for fans' Earth Day plans, encouraging them to tweet back. "Happy Earth Day tweeples! I'd love to know what you all are doing in honor of Earth Day today."
Today was a double holiday for some, and those stars planning trips or family time for the Easter weekend shared their excitement. Hunk Hugh Jackman's tweet (and the attached pic) made us pretty jealous, "Oh what a beautiful morning!!! Happy Easter from Carmel. http://twitpic.com/4o0q48" Hilary Duff shared her Easter plans— volunteer work with big sis Haylie. "Now heading to Los Angeles mission to feed people for Easter and hand out candy baskets to the kidos with @hayliek!!" she tweeted.

Today, President Barack Obama delivered his speech addressing the federal deficit, and celeb supporters like Sophia Bush and Mark Ruffalo chimed in. Mark showed his agreement by retweeting the president, saying, "RT @BarackObama There's nothing serious about a plan that claims to reduce the deficit by spending $1 trillion on tax cuts for millionair..." Sophia thanked Obama for his honesty, tweeting, "The @BarackObama speaking right now is the man I voted for. This is what we need. Frank discussion. Honesty. Real planning. Thank you."
In less political Twitter news (now that's a phrase we didn't think we'd ever use), Seth Green pal (and frequently "Robot Chicken" voice actor) Breckin Meyer joined the social networking site today. His inaugural tweet: "Hello Twitter, where's the #SuperPoke button?" Seth and other friends, like Mark Paul Gosselaar and Jeri Ryan, welcomed Breckin. Seth tweeted, "My dear friend @BreckinMeyer is actually on Twitter now. Brilliant & unpredictable & really worth following http://twitpic.com/4k6aa0"

Hollywood woke to the sad news this morning that legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor, best remembered for her works in classics such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," "Cleopatra," "National Velvet" and "Giant" died at the age of 79 from congestive heart failure. The iconic star, who was also known for her dedication to HIV and AIDS research, her trailblazing fashion choices, her classic White Diamonds ads, her friendship with Michael Jackson and her many marriages, was remembered by her famous friends and fans on Twitter today.
The eternally classic and hip Elizabeth had her own Twitter and many of her followers retweeted her words of wisdom today, including one from July 2010 that read, "Give. Remember always to give. That is the thing that will make you grow." In fact, giving was one of Elizabeth's strongest suits. Fans of "Sex and the City" will no doubt recall the name of Charlotte's beloved pooch, Elizabeth Taylor, as Kristin Davis shared, "Elizabeth gave us permission at SATC for the storyline using her name. She also sent all of us sweet gifts! so sweet! #RIPElizabethTaylor."
Many other celebs were lucky enough to cross paths with Dame Elizabeth, including Kim Kardashian who interviewed her just last month for Harper's Bazaar, writing from her page, "I am so saddened about the passing of Elizabeth Taylor! She will always be my idol!" Chad Lowe recalled his time with Elizabeth, "I had the great fortune to work with #ElizabethTaylor. She really was extraordinary, so kind and caring. An awesome talent" and Steve Martin shared, "I met Elizabeth Taylor several times. She was witty and self-deprecating, which I found surprising and delightful. She loved to laugh.”

Don't go, Reege! This morning TV legend Regis Philbin announced he'll be retiring from "Live With Regis and Kelly." The news bummed out many celebs who have appeared as guests on the show, including actress Sophia Bush who cried, "Boo! I love Regis. He's one of my favs. He'll be missed." Meanwhile, Olympic skater Apolo Anton Ohno pondered, "I did hear that Regis is retiring...it will be tough to find a replacement..that man is incredible!" but former *NSYNC member Joey Fatone already had someone lined up for the job...himself! Joey, pictured, who has previously worked on shows like "The Singing Bee" tweeted, "Maybe they need a nyc native to take his place !
I better start practicing my hosting skills again!"
But Regis leaving his job won't be the only big change coming to mornings. Starbucks has announced they'll introduce the "Trenta" size for their iced coffees and iced teas. Singer Michelle Branch explained from her page that, "Trenta means 30 in Italian but it will be 31-ounces, which is 16 ml larger than a human stomach at rest" while funny man Conan O'Brien had his own explanation on his Twitter page, "I can't wait to try the new gigantic Starbucks size, "Trenta". Or as it's called in The Midwest, "A Medium"." Elsewhere, Cobra Starship band member Victoria Asher noted, "Man, I'd hate to spill a new Starbucks Trenta sized coffee on my lap."

With sudden floods ravaging a large portion of Australia, celebs hopped on their Twitter pages to do their part to help those suffering Down Under and send their condolences. Justin Bieber posted, "just heard about the floods in Australia. to all the people out there i send you my prayers. #staystrong" as Miranda Cosgrove wrote, "The people that have been affected by the floods in Australia are in my heart tonight <3" Elsewhere, Sophia Bush (pictured) posted information on ways to donate to relief efforts, when she tweeted, "This is so sad. Please lend a hand to help those affected in the Queensland floods in Australia- www.qld.gov.au/floods or call 1800219028" and later added, "In Australia during this flood, stranded animals need help too. http://tiny.cc/9gqcl donate at http://tiny.cc/35g5p."
In addition to the tragic floods, today was certainly a memorable one because of the date itself: 1/1/11. Stephanie Pratt posted," 1-11-11!!!! Time to make wishes everyone!!! Hope they come true!!" and Elliott Yamin tweeted, "Happy 1's all across the board yall!! #1/11/11 #1-11-11." When "Glory Daze"'s Drew Seeley asked followers on Twitter today, "New Years is sneaking up quick! What are your resolutions??" plenty of people chimed in with what they plan to change in 2011. But it seems some celebs have no intention of making any whatsoever, including singer Rob Thomas who wrote, "my new years resolution this year is to not make any resolutions." Same goes for "The Hills" star Kristin Cavallari (pictured) who wrote, "I'm not making a new years resolution bc I never stick with it...but if I did, it would be to stop swearing. That'll never happen!"
While many stars may not be making any changes for the new year, there's one thing they are all doing as of late: watching Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis totally bring it in "Black Swan"! Rocker Gavin Rossdale urged, "Black swan is completely brilliant- check it out" and it seems like plenty of moviegoers have already taken his advice. Actress Sophia Bush admitted, "Spent my first 10min awake this AM staring out the window thinking about Black Swan. And I'm still thinking about it! Must see it again..." while "So You Think You Can Dance" finalist Lacey Schwimmer has already viewed it for a second time, telling fans, "Black Swan round 2 was even better! I actually got to see the real story! Beautiful!"

There are worse things than living and working in the stunning Swiss Alps and not knowing how to ski. But apparently if you're a chalet girl—basically a foreign housekeeper in a ritzy ski resort (like an au pair, but for cleaning)—it's pretty much the worst sin in the world. Or so we've learned from the new trailer for "Chalet Girl," a movie about a, uh, chalet girl that's set to come out February 11.
Luckily our British heroine has a natural talent for snowboarding, and thus makes waves in the posh world she's transplanted into. It's essentially your typical "poor girl in rich world" fish-out-of-water story, but with winter sports.
Here are five reasons why we're intrigued by the trailer:

Mondays typically aren't something to celebrate (in fact, we usually just spend it mourning our weekends) but today, October 11, 2010, is the exception to the rule. In the U.S., there's plenty of parades for Columbus Day, while Canada is celebrating their Thanksgiving (native Canuck Drew Seeley posted, "Oh Canadaaaa... Our home and native laaaaaand...") Today also marks National Coming Out Day, and "One Tree Hill" star Sophia Bush tweeted, "It's National Coming Out Day!! Pride and props to everyone who has the courage to live as they really are! Kisses and hugs and glitter! ;)xo"
Elsewhere, actress Alexa Vega (pictured) has something to celebrate herself...her marriage! The "Spy Kids" star got hitched over the weekend to longtime love, movie producer Sean Covel, and she wrote to followers today, "Ahhhh. I'm married!!!!"

It's good to have famous friends in Hollywood, if only so you can call on them to help with whatever charity organization you care about. That's what "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker has been doing for the past two days, at least. Just today, "Dexter"'s Julie Benz, "Dollhouse"'s Eliza Dushku (and her bf, new "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Rick Fox!) and "House"'s Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Morrison joined Eva's organization TwitChange to help raise money for Haiti relief. Those yet to respond? The cast of "Glee," who Eva tweeted, "Hey @msleamichele @msamberpriley @IJennaUsh @chriscolfer I would LOVE to have you all on board our charity auction @ http://TwitChange.com." Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum and Kevin McHale already agreed, so now the rest of them definitely can't refuse!
Meanwhile, a second oil rig explosion in the Gulf caused outrage from some other television stars. "This is like a bad dream...Offshore Oil Rig in the Gulf of Mexico Explodes http://nyti.ms/bq5mIX Please help fundraise! http://bit.ly/9ML8RT," tweeted "One Tree Hill" star Sophia Bush. "Charmed" star Alyssa Milano seconded that, tweeting, "No. No. Gulf oil platform explodes, burning off Louisiana coast." We should also note that Alyssa already joined TwitChange for Eva. She's just an all around good Samaritan!
