If you weren't at one of the 500 Target stores that premiered exclusive footage of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" last night, you’re in luck, because we’ve got a wrap-up. Check out our coverage of the event, and let’s delve a little deeper into the exciting first look at the finale of vampires, werewolves and hybrids.

The five-minute long clip featured greetings from pretty much the whole cast (hey there, Jasper and Emmett!) with Kristen Stewart talking about her favorite of Bella’s powers: Her "super self-control." There was also a behind-the-scenes look at Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in the woods rehearsing, presumably footage from the upcoming, intense final battle. To the disappointment of many in the crowd, Taylor was wearing a shirt for the entirety of the clip.

By now, you've had ample time to see the sad photographic evidence confirming that Robert Pattinson has, indeed, shaved off his luscious locks into an ultra-short buzz cut. (In fan circles, this is also known as ample time to scream, sob, mourn and then scream some more.) But getting such up-close and personal insight into the exact shape and size of Rob's head got us thinking: what would happen if everyone in the "Twilight" cast gave themselves a close-cropped shave?

The easiest answer, obviously, is A LOT MORE SCREAMING AND CRYING. But after some speculative Photoshopping, surprisingly enough, some of these guys—and girls!—don't look half bad with a buzz cut. And while we'd like to urge Peter Facinelli not to lose his lovely locks anytime soon (not because it looks awful, but because that new hairline makes him look too weirdly similar to Patrick Wilson), and also Kristen Stewart (um, lady? Is your head really shaped like that?!) some of the other stars just might want to tote this gallery of what-ifs along to their next salon appointments. Especially you, Ashley Greene.

For those of us who sometimes worry that our dance moves are somewhat less than suavely smooth, MTV News' latest interview with Taylor Lautner offers a little bit of sympathetic relief; turns out that just as ordinary citizens sweat their booty-shaking technique before big events like the prom, Taylor was shaking in his booties over his dance scene with Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." Especially terrifying: the discovery that his dance included some unexpected choreography.

"I was extremely nervous," he admitted. "Especially when they told us there was going to be lifts and stuff. I was like, are you kidding me? Are we on 'Dancing With the Stars'? No!"

Just in case there weren't enough articles already written about "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and its bed-breaking sex scene (and really, when it comes to vampire sex, is there ever such a thing as "enough"?), this week's Entertainment Weekly has its own exclusive to add to the mix: an interview with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner about the shredded pillows (we know), the shattered headboard (seen it!) and the fact that the first cut of that hot 'n' heavy scene was actually a whole lot hotter and heavier than a PG-13 rating would allow.

According to Rob, this ultra-sexy interlude did exist somewhere on film before getting cut down into more age-appropriate territory: "There’s a version where it was really intense."

The stars were out in full force at the UK premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," and we're not just talking about celebrity sightings! Of course, the trinity of lead actors from "The Twilight Saga"—Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner—were present and accounted for on the red carpet, but their looks were positively astronomical. Kristen dazzled in an elegant black gown with sparkly accents, and Rob and Taylor both sported shiny suits and brilliant grins. The three stopped outside for a series of fab photo ops, putting on their prettiest smiles and even posing with a few lucky fans.

This is just the latest in a long, long series of events for the much-anticipated opening of "Breaking Dawn" on November 18, and after three years of premieres for the "Twilight" films, the stars are old pros at these appearances. But they all still look thrilled to be here—and totally nonplussed at being mobbed by frantic fans as they made their way into the theater.

Sad, sad spoiler alert, y'all: Taylor Lautner does appear in the soon-to-be-released "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," but the glorious show of well-muscled manhood that we've become accustomed to in the previous "Twilight" films does not. Instead, his famous abs are tragically hidden from view throughout pretty much the entire movie. And when Taylor met up with MTV News' Josh Horowitz for some real talk, we found out why: He made it that way.

"I got it down to one time," Taylor crowed, delighting in his near-total lack of shirtlessness throughout the film. "One time in the movie, that's it! And it literally lasts for two seconds."

We'll start with the bad news: Robert Pattinson did not, in fact, give a real-life demonstration of his headboard-breaking capabilities on the black carpet of last night's big premiere for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." (So much for getting a real-life recreation of the trailer's most titillating scene.) But apart from that? The star-studded premiere was a crazy-fabulous evening—with appearances by every member of the Cullen family, the whole entire wolfpack and (of course!) the big trifecta of stars who define the "Twilight" series.

The long-running "Twilight" media tour has seen some scruffy showings from its stars (we're looking at you, RPattz—or, more specifically, your chin), but one look at the photos from the evening shows that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner pulled out all the stops last night for the big world premiere. Kristen was glammed to the gills in a floor-length gown with a slit up to there (although she did trade her sky-high heels for sneakers by the end of the night). Rob and Taylor sported sexy, shiny, almost-sorta-matching suits with skinny ties. And between their haute-couture getups, poised interviews, and plenty of posing with fans, the whole event was so polished that you could look at these photos and almost forget that we were primarily there to talk about headboard-shattering vampire sex.

It's almost time for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," and the "Twilight" cast takeover continues! This time the main event was Taylor Lautner, who spent the earlier part of the day running from one morning show appearance to another—possibly in an attempt to find one interviewer who wanted to talk about something other than his abs.

Yeeeeeah. Keep dreaming, Tay-Tay. WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE ABS.

First up was a visit with "Today," where Taylor stepped onto the plaza for a quick chat with Al Roker and co... and, of course, abs. After being asked whether he ever gets shy about his frequent on-screen shirtlessness, Taylor replied, "Of course!" But, he added, "I was lucky in this one, because I was shirtless much less than Rob and Kristen are."
