From meat dresses to dramatic gowns, 2010 was undoubtedly the year of the fashion statement. Stars like Lady Gaga and Rihanna pushed the envelope with awe-inspiring looks, while others like Taylor Swift, Emma Watson and Lea Michele seriously upped the glam factor. We dissected the best and worst styles throughout the year, but with 2011 fast approaching we thought it was time to give some due credit to those stars who shined brightest. Keep reading to find out which red carpet ladies made the 2010 fashion cut.

Most Talked About Style: Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is known for her outlandish taste (and her affinity for pants-less outfits), but the star went above and beyond when she hit the 2010 Video Music Awards red carpet in a dress made of out meat (accessories included!). Whether you loved it or hated it (and according to our poll, the majority of you weren't fans), there's no denying that Gaga's meat dress had everyone talking for weeks on end.

Rambo? Ancient history. Jason Bourne? Soooo 2008. Forget the dudely heroes of yesteryear; these days, the name of the game is ass-kicking women. This year's movie lineup was rife with smart, sexy, ultra-confident ladies who hang tough, play hard, and fight dirty...and, of course, gleefully murder the unfortunate punks who get in their way. And as we look back on 12 months of fine female leads, the 2010 year-end roundups wouldn't be complete without a countdown list of the Ass-Kickingest Females of the Year. From legitimate superheroes to intellectual heavyweights to vengeful victims, there's no question that these performances carried a serious dose of girl power.

Kristen StewartToday, moviegoers in New York and Los Angeles will finally get to see Kristen Stewart's latest, "Welcome to the Rileys." K-Stew is already receiving raves for the risky project, in which she plays a runaway stripper named Mallory. The movie, which also stars James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, is quite the departure from the "Twilight Saga," which made Kristen a household name. It seems she can hold her own with two acting heavyweights, but it isn't the first time Kristen has been impressive in other movies. While we here (and all of you guys) will always love the 20-year-old actress best for playing Bella Swan, we were curious as to which non-"Twilight" Kristen Stewart role you liked best.

From her previous forays into indies (as terminally ill teen Georgia in "The Cake Eaters") to nostalgic comedy (playing the cool but conflicted love interest Em in "Adventureland") to rocker biopics (as the iconic rocker Joan Jett in "The Runaways") to romantic dramas (as the neighbor of Adam Brody in "In The Land of Women"...hey, it's a tough job...) and sweeping epics (a hippie who falls for fellow drifter Chris McCandless in the big-screen adaptation of "Into The Wild"), there's plenty to love on Kristen's resume so far. Vote in our poll and let us know which of K-Stew's other roles you like best!

Judging by your response to our poll on Emma Watson's brand new haircut, you all were as shocked as we were when the young actress announced that she chopped off all her locks. The results of the poll show that you all dig her new 'do, but there are definitely quite a few fans out there that are rebelling against Emma switching up the hair we have come to know her for over the past decade.

Fortunately, Emma is one of many actresses whose dramatic hair cuts have rocked Hollywood. For the most part, it's gone well for them, but in some cases it took a little getting used to. At least Emma made the correct decision of cutting her hair for (what seems to be) herself, and not for a role.

It's no secret that Kristen Stewart's a t-shirt and jeans kinda gal, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like getting glammed up every now and then.

KStew recently opened up to MTV News' own Josh Horowitz about the pressure she feels when getting ready for an event and admitted that (just like the rest of us) she has a hard time choosing an outfit.

Attention: Kristen Stewart would like if you would please just stop asking her if she's dating Robert Pattinson. "People always ask me if I’m dating Robert. It’s beyond annoying," she told Elle UK exclusively for the July cover story. "What I say is, that, why would I want anything that’s private to become entertainment for other people? People say that if I just tell them everything I’ll be left alone, but God, you think if I tell people they’ll leave me alone? They pick up every little scrap, and that’s much worse."

We're guilty of being just as curious as everyone else, but it's understandable that Kristen's relationship status has become a tiresome topic of conversation over the past couple of years. The actress has been a tabloid staple ever since "Twilight"'s 2008 release.

Happy Birthday Kristen Stewart! Our girl turns the big 2-0 today, and we figured what better way to celebrate than a trip down fashion memory lane? After all, Kristen only really burst onto the scene about two years ago and since then she's already starred in an epic blockbuster ("Twilight" and "New Moon") and a critically acclaimed biopic ("Runaways") while leaving a trail of awesome outfits behind her (especially in 2010!).

So, in honor of the evolution of Kstew and her wardrobe up to her 20th birthday, we decided to revisit some of her best looks. It wasn't an easy decision, but check after the jump to see which five we picked as our favorites.

P.S. Thanks to all the Crushers who tweeted their list to us @hollywoodcrush! We definitely heard what you had to say!

This year's "The Runaways" earned some critic success at film festivals and decent box office revenues thanks to the star power of Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart, but not all music biopics are so lucky. Variety ran an article last week discussing how many such biopics linger in production hell for years before finally making their way to the big screen, if they make it at all.

"The Runaways" took more than four years to hit theaters (and that was with the help of band members Joan Jett and Cherie Currie), while other past successes like "Ray" took more than 13 years to make. That meant the idea to turn The Runaways' story into a film was 25 years after they became successful, while the idea to turn Ray Charles' story was 40 years after his success.

We're trying really hard not to insert some corny joke here about Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning running away to many different parts of the country to promote their rock biopic "The Runaways," over these past two weeks ... but alas, it's just too easy.

Behold our exclusive "Runaways" scrapbook (if you will)! We checked in with the modern-day versions of Joan Jett and Cherie Currie at every stop along their massive press excursion from L.A. to NYC to Austin. So press play below to check them out in our — as Kristen put it — "tour diary or something"!

Did you see "The Runaways" over the weekend? If yes, we want to know what you thought! Send us a note in the comments section below!
