Remember the days of 'NSYNC when Justin Timberlake rocked a small mop of curly locks? Well you soon might be able to see them again! That’s right JT fans, the singer is growing out his hair for his upcoming role in the new film, "The Social Network." The film, which follows the rise of Facebook and the effect that it had on the site’s founders, also stars "Zombieland" actor Jesse Eisenberg.

“My hair is obviously growing out for a reason.” Justin hinted to MTV News. And while some of us may be caught off guard at the singer reverting back to his boy-band hair do, the singer insists that the movie’s director knows what he’s doing. "To be honest David Fincher’s so ridiculously genius, we're all just following his lead," JT said. "I think we want to tell the story, and I want to tell it through [Aaron] Sorkin's words and Fincher's eyes. I think Aaron did a lot of research on all of it. I don't want to speak for another actor, but I think the consensus for all of us is that we just want to make a great film."

Which look do you prefer? Do you like the retro curly throwback of “Bye Bye Bye” or does the buzz cut look a bit more “justified”?

While we're still convinced Columbia Pictures reads Hollywood Crush, it turns out Jesse Eisenberg missed our post where we cast him as our number one pick for Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network," the role for which it was announced he was cast in last week.

Hollywood Crush got a chance to talk to Jesse and his "Zombieland" costar Woody Harrelson when they came through Boston to promote the film, and of course we had to bring up how we had cast him way before the studio did.

Woody laughed and turned to Jesse, saying it appeared he had us to thank for getting the job. "Do I have to give you 10 percent?" was Jesse's dead-pan first response.

It's really about time Hollywood Crush starts charging for a portion of casting fees! After all, just three months ago (almost to the day) we suggested five possible actors for Columbia Picture to pick from for their upcoming Facebook film, "The Social Network." Among them was "Zombieland" leading wimpy man Jesse Eisenberg who Variety confirmed today would, in fact be playing the lead role of Mark Zuckerberg. Can you feel the synergy here between Hollywood Crush and actual Hollywood, people?

Jesse even teased us earlier this month when we sat down to talk about "Zombieland" by responding when we asked him if there were any truth to "The Social Network" casting rumors with: "They are rumors. That is true." C'mon Jesse! I thought we shared more of a bond than that!

FROM MOVIES BLOG: Who will ultimately step into the flip-flops of billionaire Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg for "The Social Network," the David Fincher-directed, Aaron Sorkin-scripted biopic about the company's founding? There've been a number of names floating around the Web — most prominently "Adventureland" star Jesse Eisenberg — but as late as July, when we spoke with "Network" producer Kevin Spacey, no actor had so much as read for the role (or so the Oscar-winner assured me).

On Wednesday, while Eisenberg was promoting his action-comedy "Zombieland," we asked the 25-year-old actor if there was any truth to the rumors.

"They are rumors," he replied. "That is true."

Remember when Hollywood Crush came up with our own wish list of actors to play Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the upcoming film "The Social Network"? Yes, for the movie (check out a recent script leak here), which is based on the soon-to-be released “Accidental Billionaires” book, we cast a few good men to play the brainy social-networking god, including "I Love You, Beth Cooper" actor Paul Rust. As it turns out, Paul has very in-tune friends — one of them saw our post and passed on the link to the star. And, well, you'll have to press play below to hear his priceless reaction!

What do you think — could Paul Rust take a turn as Mark Zuckerberg?

Mark ZuckerbergAs Facebook didn't already consume hours of my time, now I can spend a couple more (and $12) to see the story of its inception brought to the big screen. "The Social Network," based on the soon-to-be released "Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal" by Ben Mezrich, tells the story of the site's creation in 2004 by then-Harvard sophomore Mark Zuckerberg (pictured, right). News that David Fincher ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Fight Club") is in talks to direct the tale, got us wondering who would be the best Mark for the movie. Here are Hollywood Crush's top five nominees.

Fincher, we hope you're paying attention ...

The 25-year-old "Adventureland" star's familiar mop-top and "I'd love to do your math homework" vibe make him one of our front-runners. And, like Mark, Jesse was raised in New York by a Jewish family. Read more...
