After waiting two months on the sidelines for "Glee" to return, fans finally got their show back with the highly anticipated post-Super Bowl episode called "The Sue Sylvester Bowl Shuffle"... and it scored a major touchdown with hardcore Gleeks!
Let's start with the lady the episode was named after: the back-to-being-Grinch-y Sue Sylvester. We learned a lot about Sue tonight: she is 31 (riiiight), she made a documentary about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, she has a tattoo of herself on her back (complete with a misspelling), she takes "ninja poops," she confuses (guest star) Katie Couric with Diane Sawyer, she has a terrible temper when she doesn't get what she wants. And, as it turns out, what Sue wants is to shoot poor Brittany out of a canon!
When Sue snubs her nose at the Cheerios' routine to Katy Perry's "California Gurls" (complete with bike ramps, pyrotechnic bras and blue wigs), she decides it's time to go big or go home for cheer regionals. Only she wants to do it dangerously by putting Brittany in a canon that will likely blow her to bits.

Super Bowl XLV has quickly turned into one Gleeked out affair.
Not only will Super Bowl Sunday (February 6) provide the long-awaited return of "Glee" and the highly anticipated "Thriller" episode, it will also feature Lea Michele kicking things off with a rendition of "America the Beautiful" (and, oh yeah, there will be a game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers in there too!)
E! confirmed that Lea would belt out the tune during pre-game festivities. Of course, this isn't the first time Lea helped get the crowd pumped at a major sporting event. She and her "Glee"-mates sang the National Anthem for Game 3 of the World Series in 2009.

This just in: "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric may appear on "Glee"! Deadline is reporting that the former "Today Show" co-host (who apparently fancies herself to be quite the gleek) is in talks to appear in the highly anticipated post-Superbowl episode (which will feature the buzzed-about "Thriller" number.) While Fox hasn't given an official word on whether Katie (who would allegedly be sharing screen time with Jane Lynch) will actually appear on the show, we officially love this idea.
Katie's rumored appearance got us thinking about more television hosts we'd love to see on the other side of the spectrum: as a guest! Keep reading after the jump for our list of five and why we think they'd make a great addition to McKinley High School!

If you were thrilled with the "Thriller" news from earlier today, this bit of "Glee" scoop should have you dancing with delight. E! Online reports that Harry Shum Jr., or as he's known to Gleeks, Mike "The Other Asian" Chang, is being bumped up from guest star to series regular on the show as of next season.
Harry, who is best known for his crazy-good dance skills (he's also a member of the dance group The LXD, which joined the "Glee" cast on their tour earlier this year), has scored some major numbers on the show this season, including "Dream A Little Dream" and "Sing" with Jenna Ushkowitz (who plays his love interest Tina Cohen-Chang), as well as this week's rendition of "Make 'Em Laugh" from "Singin' in the Rain" with Matthew Morrison.

With today marking the release of the highly anticipated Michael Jackson movie “This Is It,” we here at Hollywood Crush wanted to find a way to help you honor the music legend. Halloween is just three days away, so we thought we would extend our Dress Like A Movie Star Week to pay tribute to (respectfully, of course) the always-groundbreaking MJ. While you could always do a group costume inspired by the spooky fun undead from the classic “Thriller” video, we also wanted to help you capture some of Jackson’s other iconic looks.

There’s no one at a party who won’t instantly recognize (and scream for) you dressed to the nines as MJ from the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards (see a photo after the jump). The great thing about these costumes? They’re unisex, so ladies and gents, it’s time to step up and give the King of Pop some props this Halloween.

Music icon Michael Jackson passed away today at the age of 50 after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in L.A.
The King of Pop leaves behind an incredible legend having swept up an entire generation of fans and musical protégés in his wings. His vocal career, which has spanned decades ever since he first performed with his brothers and sisters as a member of The Jackson 5 in the late 60s, has even impacted the movie industry as his songs have been featured on an upwards of 50 soundtracks.
It may be cheesy, but the movie scene in which Michael Jackson's tunes stand out in my mind the most would have to be from 2004's rom com "13 Going on 30." Read more...
