What would make prom even better? Maybe adding some singing to the dancing? If that's your thing, then rejoice: The "Glee" prom is just around the corner! Star Max Adler (pictured) took to Twitter to hype the episode—and some upcoming details about his own prom. "Hey my tweeps!! Please check me out on the show @10onTop on @MTV tomorrow 5/7 at 11:30a! I'll be discussing GLEE Prom & MY real Prom!" If you can't wait for the episode, you can get a temporary "Glee" fix with their version of Rebecca Black's "Friday," which was just released. Rebecca seemed excited about the cover, tweeting, "Just heard Glee's version of Friday!! :D Check it out here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=2R9gcxe0Vho."

With Mother's Day just around the corner, some stars were more excited about mom than prom. Jay DeMarcus showed his mother love with a aww-inducing tweet, "Back to Nashville for Mother's Day weekend!! Sorry to everyone but I have the best mother on the planet... None can compare...." Mom club member Denise Richards posted about a celebration with one of her little ones, tweeting, "Lola's class had a beautiful Mother's day tea for us moms..so lovely." Radio Disney's Jake Whetter asked followers what their Mother's Day plans were, "What are you doing for mom this Mother's Day?" Which reminds us, we should probably get on that...

May the fourth be with you! Get it? May the 4th. Thanks to this fun little pun, today is "Star Wars" day, and some of our favorite stars embraced their inner geek (virtually, at least) to tweet in celebration of the occasion. "New Moon" actor Chaske Spencer (pictured) tweeted a favorite quote from the original trilogy, "Its Star Wars status day, right? Ok so here's mine; Leia "I love you!" Han Solo "I know" - Empire Strikes Back." Liz Lee, whose Twitter background screams "'Star Wars' fan!" tweeted some all-caps-worthy excitement. "#MAYTHEFOURTHBEWITHYOU HAPPY #STARWARS day 'errbody!!!"

In (slightly) more down-to-earth news, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon announced the names of their twins today: Moroccan and Monroe. The proud parents took to Twitter to share the news. Mariah tweeted the news with the #dembabies hashtag, saying, "Mariah & Nick reveal the names of #dembabies Monroe Cannon & Moroccan Scott Cannon! Read more @ http://mariahcarey.com/news/32701." Nick was a little more subtle, hinting at possible nicknames for the twins with his, "ROC & ROE! LET'S GO!" tweet.

The end is near for camptastic Disney favorite "Wizards of Waverly Place." While we're sure we'll still see plenty of our favorites (stars Selena Gomez and David Henrie both have projects lined up post-"Wizards"), it'll be sad to see the series end. Members of the cast, including Gregg Sulkin (pictured) and Dan Benson have been all a-tweet as filming winds down. Dan hinted at a super-secretive set, tweeting, "Top secret episode of Wizards. Security guards are all around the set. I feel really important." Gregg tweeted that the soundstage was "boiling" (wonder what's making the set so hot?) and asked fans about their "Wizards" love, tweeting, "What's your favourite Wizards of Waverly Place catchphrase?"

Adrian Grenier and company worked some magic of their own recently; the actor's relentless Twitter campaign for a Webby paid off. SHFT won both the People's Choice and a Webby. Adrian tweeted the good news to the fans that helped make it happen. "Thx to u @shftdotcom won BOTH people's choice & webby award. I'm celebrating w/a majestic fountain. You? http://say.ly/bOaiCz." Pal and SHFT supporter Sophia Bush chimed in, "Thanks to each&every one of you who helped win @SHFTdotcom a #Webby. Each vote mattered & we've shown the world we care about this planet!"

Kat Dennings (pictured) started the day off with a hyperactive stream of excitement, tweeting, "THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR THOR #THOR." Co-star Jaimie Alexander was a little more coherent about looking forward to the big premiere. "Woohooo very excited for the #THOR premiere tonight!!!!!! :)" she tweeted.

Comic-influenced wasn't the only variety of crime fighting that was a hot topic today. Like the rest of the country, many stars were quick to voice their opinions about the news that terrorist Osama bin Laden was killed over the weekend. Rob Thomas was happy about the news, tweeting, "don't get me wrong. i can't remember ever being GLAD someone was dead and i'm glad he is. i just know there's already another in his place." If you thought the Royal Wedding was unavoidable the last few weeks, that was nothing compared to the day-of buzz. There were so many #RoyalWedding tweets (both gushing and griping about the big event) that it's a wonder we weren't hit with a Brit-themed Fail Whale, complete with tea and scones. Some celebs, like Kat Graham (pictured), tweeted what they loved about the royal nuptials. Kat was a fan of now-Princess Kate's down-to-earth approach to makeup for the big day. "I love that Kate Middleton did her own makeup for her wedding...," she tweeted. Melissa Joan Hart was also a fan of the ceremony, tweeting, "Grace Kelly and Princess Diana are very strongly felt at this royal wedding! I wish them both love and joy for decades to come!"

Besides a wedding, there's at least one other great excuse in a girl's life to dress like a princess: prom. The Disney movie of the same name opened today, and it's not just the teen audience that's excited for the flick. Singer-rapper Travie McCoy, whose song is featured in the film, urged fans to hit up opening night. "Can't make it to see me play at Bamboozle tonight? You can always go hear "We'll Be Alright" in PROM in theaters today! http://bit.ly/gK8NQZ."

In one of the worst tornado outbreaks in history, thousands of people in the South have been left homeless and at least 263 have lost their lives. With a death toll of at least 180 in Alabama alone, the storms have been devastating. Today, several celebs showed support, especially for cities like Tuscaloosa, that were hit particularly hard. Stars from Khloe Kardashian to Rob Thomas had the South in their prayers today. Taylor Swift (pictured), tweeted, "We're at rehearsals watching videos of the tornadoes in Tuscaloosa. Our love and hopes and thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected." Paula Abdul was concerned for acquaintances who might have been affected, tweeting, "gonna pop onto Facebook to check for msgs from family or anyone in #Tuscaloosa #Alabama -more people who've literally lost EVERYTHING..."

While the tornadoes trended across Twitter, some were fortunate enough to have happier things to think about, as well. Adrian Grenier, whose project SHFT is up for a Webby, urged fans to vote to help him win the award. "fellow twitterers u've endured my plea & responded boldly 4 'Shft' 9hrs till victory. VOTE Rwards 2 come http://t.co/MAMBz6u #Onelastpush," he tweeted. According to its website, SHFT is a "new media platform, offering original video series, curated shopping and a host of resources that speak to a modern, inspirational, eco-conscious lifestyle." Omar Epps got behind the idea, joining Adrian's push for support. "@adriangrenier You should win a #webby for your site! Everyone VOTE 'SHFT' now. Last day! http://t.co/H0szH9S"

The early verdict is in on NBC's sing competition series "The Voice": a resounding "yay!" With vocal coaches like Christina Aguilera (pictured), Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green, it's probably not too shocking that the show is worth a watch. What's more surprising: It's already being hailed as better than reigning king of the singing show, "American Idol." Blake Shelton responded to a tweet from Us Weekly that suggested fan support is higher for the newbie show. "@usweekly: Looks like most of our readers prefer #TheVoice over #AmericanIdol! http://t.co/OtWzXyL" Your readers are so smart!!" Coach Christina praised the contestants, saying, "More and more blown away by these auditions! Proud of the team I’ve got behind me! #TheVoice." And YouTube sensation Rebecca Black made time to tune in. "Watched #thevoice last night. I thought it was great!(: What did you guys think?"

The voices on NBC aren't the only ones warming up to wow. If the number of "OMG I'm in rehearsals!" tweets are any indication, there won't be a shortage of showstopping singing and dancing in the near future. "Degrassi:The Next Generation" actress and singer Andrea Lewis was all about rehearsals —like times three, tweeting, "Rehearsals, Rehearsals, REHEARSALS!" Josh Groban decided to make practice interactive, giving fans a chance to take a peek at his rehearsal process. "Behind the scenes at tour music rehearsal! (my hair will be tamed for actual show) http://t.co/7PxnK5M #straighttoyoutour #seeyouthere."

It was only a matter of time before "Glee" did Gaga (AGAIN), right? How much more delightfully over the top can you possibly get? Fret not, Gleeks, the time has finally come with tonight's "Born This Way" episode. The cast is almost as excited as we are. Almost. Ashley Fink (pictured) celebrated "gleesday" with a tweet of pure excitement, saying, "it's #gleesday y'all! Born. This. Way. #excited!" Co-star Max Adler almost tweeted enough to bring on the fail whale, hyping both the show and a special Extra interview on NBC. "it's Glee day ya'll!! New episode. Born This Way. Tonight. FOX. Please tune in! Can't wait for you guys to see THIS one!" he tweeted, sharing in Ashley's y'all-inducing glee (pun totally intended).

"Glee" might be getting Gaga-fied, but "Happy Birthday" is the only song we expect to be sung in the Tatum household tonight. Channing Tatum turned 31 today and received the birthday tweets to prove it. Nick Zano tweeted, "Happy Birthday Chan - Happy Birthday to my sibling CHANNING TATUM. http://tumblr.com/xqm2a1r54e." Channing's wife, Jenna Dewan tweeted a super sweet, "Happy birthday to my favorite person on the earth @channingtatum :)"

Going green is something lots of our famous faves advocate year round, so we wouldn't expect anything less than extra encouragement from them on Earth Day. Today, environmentally conscience celebs used Twitter as a platform for celebrating and sharing plans for making our world a happier, healthier place. Everyone from "Pretty Little Liars"' Ian Harding (pictured) to Jessica Alba was giddy for Green today. While Ian tweeted a simple "Happy earth day!" reminder, fellow ABC Family star Megan Park took it a step further, encouraging fans to get out, even posting a nature-centric picture of herself doing the same. "Happy Earth Day! Go hug a tree :) http://plixi.com/p/94860427" Jessica Alba tweeted a request for fans' Earth Day plans, encouraging them to tweet back. "Happy Earth Day tweeples! I'd love to know what you all are doing in honor of Earth Day today."
