What can die-hard "New Moon" fans do after they've finished watching the movie for oh…lets say the 10th time in a row? Look forward to the next one of course! Stars from "New Moon" recently revealed their favorite scenes from the upcoming "Eclipse" to MTV News.
So what can fans look forward to? Well for one, they can expect to learn a lot more of the Cullens. Nikki Reed said that "Eclipse" will delve into her character Rosaline's tragic backstory with a sequence from the 1930s. "I think they want to see the Cullens' history. It gives me the opportunity to explain myself," said Nikki.

FROM MTV.COM: (Written by James Montgomery) I should probably get this out of the way right at the top: I am not exactly a "Twilight" fan. I have never read a page of Stephenie Meyer's bloodsucking series, I can't tell you where the series takes place, or who Esme Cullen is, or why Taylor Lautner never wears a shirt (and yes, I just had to go to Wikipedia to learn that Lautner's character isn't even a vampire).
But on Monday, I went to see "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" to determine whether or not the film — which earned some $140 million in its opening weekend — is actually the most emo thing ever created.

Our trip down memory lane with "New Moon," costume designer Tish Monaghan continues today when we take a sartorial magnifying glass to the wardrobes of the Cullen family and boy wonder Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Don't miss yesterday's look at Edward's and Bella's costumes either!
THE ENRICHED CULLENS
We know those Cullens are basically perfect, but one modification was made to the family’s closet for "New Moon." "Chris wanted to stay away from them looking as pastel as they did in the first film," Tish explained. “He thought they stood out too much. So he wanted them more of the world, but set apart within the color palette — so, just in cool colors.” Here, Alice (Ashley Greene, left) wears a blue dress by Rebecca Taylor and Rosalie (Nikki Reed, right) wears an Eli Tahari design.

"Twilight" fans should thank the Summit gods for hiring faithful adapter Melissa Rosenberg to pen all four (five?) "Twilight Saga" scripts, because if "Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien ever got his hands on them, Edward and Jacob's duel for Bella would end very differently than Stephenie Meyer intended.
In honor of "New Moon" star Taylor Lautner's visit, Conan resurrected his sullen vampire assistant Cody Devereaux, whom you may remember from Kristen Stewart's appearance last week. In the gag, Cody declares that he cannot — wait for it — share Conan with his other assistant, Wolf Boy. "I can't share you Mr. O'Brien. It hurts too much. You have to chose one of us," he implored. How to solve the vampire-host-wolf triangle? Why, bring out Jerry Springer, of course. And in case you missed it, Jerry revealed his true vampire nature, melting in the sun moments later. If only Bella, Edward and Jacob had gone on a daytime talk show their problems could have been solved in like book two. Anyway, on to what you really came here for: What did Taylor have to say?!?

If the 30-minute "New Moon" run time didn't meet your necessary Bella, Jacob and/or Edward face time quota, well, stay tuned. When we caught up recently with sequel director Chris Weitz he assured us there will be plenty more to sink our teeth into when the flick comes out on DVD next year.
"There will be probably about 20 minutes of deleted material," Chris explained. "It really is good stuff and a bonus for the fans." What sort of "good stuff," Chris did not elaborate on, but MTV News is aware of several scenes that did not make the final cut that would make perfect fodder for a DVD bonus reel. They include ...

In the long awaited countdown to "New Moon," we've brought you just about everything you've ever wanted to know about the franchise, its stars and their (maybe) love lives. Now that you've seen the big sequel (and caused it to break box office records), we bet your head is swimming with even more "I need to know this NOW!" questions — especially ones about your favorite character's style in the movie. That's where we come in.
We knew how much you loved Edward's grey pea coat in "Twilight" (it was a custom design). And we bet you already own a version Bella's blue hooded jacket (made by BB Dakota) — but with "New Moon" comes a whole new shopping list. So, starting today, we'll look back at the making of the movie's wardrobe with costume designer Tish Monaghan. First up: Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart).
BEGINNING THE PROCESS
“There was already a particular look in place, so the first thing I did was find out from the studio and the director, Chris Weitz, if they were happy with the looks of the characters,” recalled costume designer Tish Monaghan. “Were there things they wanted changed? Once I got those instructions — there were only minor adjustments to be made.” Bella's presentation from “Twilight” was kept consistent. “[The studio and Chris] liked that she was a tomboy and that she was in earth tones and was a little bit out of place. So I picked up on all of those comments, and when I did all of my purchasing for her, I stayed more or less in that world unless there was something specific that was required in the script.”

For those of you who have seen "New Moon" already (and I'm assuming that's most of you out there), you'll know Rachelle Lefevre's Victoria gets a lot more screen time in the film than she does in the book. MTV got a chance to sit down with "The Twilight Saga" screenplay scribe Melissa Rosenberg and ask her about the decision to have a visual instead of just aural Victoria.

"Movies are such a visual medium," said Melissa. "To just be talking about Victoria, or to be hearing about her, isn't visceral enough. You have to actually see her and see the threat that she is; I wanted to keep her alive throughout, so that you knew that the danger to Bella was alive. I also had so much fun writing for her there are a couple of action moments in the middle of the movie that are really fun, and I really wanted to have her in there. It also keeps the pacing of the movie, to see her and to have those conflicts."

It's Monday, November 23, 2009, so since "New Moon" has been out for about three and a half days, I'm assuming everyone reading this has already seen the newest installment of "The Twilight Saga." Twice.
So if you've seen it, you've probably noticed the fact Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Alice (Ashley Greene) flew on a Virgin America flight from Washington to Italy. As Larry Carroll pointed out when he wrote up his "New Moon: Five Fun Facts You Didn't Know" back on November 9 (yes, he got to see it almost two weeks before we did. Unfair!), Virgin America doesn't offer flights from Seattle to Italy. In fact, Virgin America doesn't offer flights to Italy at all.
We cried foul with blatant product placement, but the more we thought about it the more we realized how the "Virgin America" plastered on that flight was much more than just paid advertising. In fact, it was actually really funny and smart.

"New Moon" has now earned it's place in box office history — as the movie with the third-biggest opening weekend of all time (with $140.7 million and still going). It's obvious to us (as it has been!) that this franchise has thus earned a permemant place in your hearts.
We've kind of been getting a bit of "Twilight" fever over here at MTV (can you blame us?) and in turn it made us ask ourselves: what would the world look like if the characters in the movies took over every facet of entertainment? Alas our Total "Twilight" Takeover photo gallery was born. When you click on the photo of Robert Pattinson as — yes! — the King of Pop and Taylor Lautner as — yes! — Michelangelo's David (that bod is not far off from Jacob's, right?) below, you'll be transformed into a alternate universe where Esme dances to "Party in the U.S.A.," Bella rides a motorcycle...with Kristin Cavallari, and Jane attends classes with Rachel and Finn!
Crushers, where in your mind could you see the cast of "New Moon" fitting in in pop culture?

Ever since “Twilight Saga” star Billy Burke told us about the cameo of new wave rocker Peter Murphy in “Eclipse,” fans have been trying to figure out where his Spanish vampire will fit into director David Slade’s movie. So, when we caught up with series screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, we had her shed some light on the dark flashback involving the former Bauhaus frontman.
“That’s cool, I didn’t know he was playing it,” she said of the scene, remembering it in the script but unaware that Peter had been cast in the role. “That’s one of the great things about ‘Eclipse,’ is that Stephenie [Meyer] goes into some of the backstories of ‘How did the wolves come to be?’ and ‘How did Rosalie come to be?’ and ‘How did Jasper come to be?’”
