December is going to be here before you can utter the words, "jingle bells," but last night, the temperature on the red carpet at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party was exactly that — HOT! The event, which celebrated the magazine's annual issue in which the best of the best in Tinseltown are honored for being on the pulse of pop culture this year, was held at the Voyeur club in L.A. (Does anyone else find it oddly fitting that the name of the club also stands for a term that describes "a fascinated observer of scandalous events"?) An abundance of well-known faces turned up for the big night, including some that were, uh, a little random, like Levi Johnston.

Not so random, however, were the cameos by Kristin Cavallari and her MTV cohort, Whitney Port. Kristin, who was nominated as "Comeback of the Year" for her return to reality TV with "The Hills," wore a Dolce & Gabbana black corset, a Philip Lam skirt with a black/gold design on it and shoes that we find to be a tad questionable as we don't like the way they cut off her leg. Whitney's vintage sheath however, was adorable and perfect for the upcoming holiday season — sparkles, gold Guiseppe Zanotti heels and just the right amount of skin.

Robert Pattinson It seems that not a week goes by without Robert Pattinson's beautiful mug splashed across a tabloid cover or two, but now it appears the 23-year-old will be gracing a much more prestigious title. According to E! Online, the foxy actor, who's currently filming "Remember Me" in New York City, will be a Vanity Fair coverboy for an issue likely hitting newsstands this fall in conjunction with the release of "New Moon."

As you may recall, Rob is no stranger to Vanity Fair. He and his fellow "Twilight" stars posed for a sexy pictorial in last year's December issue. (We're still fanning ourselves off!) And just last month, the heartthrob was voted "Most Handsome Man in the World" by VF.com readers, trouncing the competition. Read more...
