With "Welcome to the Rileys" opening today in limited release, it won't be long before the world gets to see a whole nude, er, new side of Kristen Stewart. But for Kristen, shedding her clothes to play teenage stripper Mallory isn't just a step into more gritty, adult roles; it's practically a rite of passage. In fact, stripper roles are such a classic career moment for young actresses that when MTV News' Josh Horowitz sat down with Kristen to talk about it, she was able to actually finish his sentences.

Josh began the question: "So many young actresses have played..." "Strippers!" Kristen filled in. "I know!"

But while some girls might be nervous about baring so much skin onscreen, Kristen told us that for her, it felt totally natural to let it all hang out—even when she wasn't in character.

Kristen StewartToday, moviegoers in New York and Los Angeles will finally get to see Kristen Stewart's latest, "Welcome to the Rileys." K-Stew is already receiving raves for the risky project, in which she plays a runaway stripper named Mallory. The movie, which also stars James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, is quite the departure from the "Twilight Saga," which made Kristen a household name. It seems she can hold her own with two acting heavyweights, but it isn't the first time Kristen has been impressive in other movies. While we here (and all of you guys) will always love the 20-year-old actress best for playing Bella Swan, we were curious as to which non-"Twilight" Kristen Stewart role you liked best.

From her previous forays into indies (as terminally ill teen Georgia in "The Cake Eaters") to nostalgic comedy (playing the cool but conflicted love interest Em in "Adventureland") to rocker biopics (as the iconic rocker Joan Jett in "The Runaways") to romantic dramas (as the neighbor of Adam Brody in "In The Land of Women"...hey, it's a tough job...) and sweeping epics (a hippie who falls for fellow drifter Chris McCandless in the big-screen adaptation of "Into The Wild"), there's plenty to love on Kristen's resume so far. Vote in our poll and let us know which of K-Stew's other roles you like best!

What's "Welcome to the Rileys" star Kristen Stewart's not-so-hidden talent? The girl can cook...and bake! Earlier this year when Kristen and her "Eclipse" costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were interviewed by Entertainment Weekly, Kristen supplied the refreshments—a loquat pie. And even though she didn't bring any treats for us when we sat down with her a few weeks ago, we still wanted to hear all about her latest culinary pursuits.

While on set for "On the Road," Kristen was the de facto cast chef, and if we had to guess, we'd bet her dishes easily rivaled anything craft services could cook up. "I didn't bake," she said. "I cooked a lot though. I was the only girl on set."

Hey, we had to ask. With Kristen Stewart shedding her wholesome Bella persona (and her clothes) in order to play a stripper in the soon-to-be-released "Welcome to the Rileys," MTV News sat down with the actress for a chat and voiced the question on everyone's mind: Does Kristen identify with the sexually manipulative tactics of her damaged, desperate character Mallory?

Kristen hemmed, hawed, and characteristically tugged on her hair before admitting that during filming, she actually did discover a few things about herself—and received a few unexpected offers of employment.

"Doing this movie, it was one shocking thing—to find how easy it is," she said. "I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer. And, it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job."

We have to admit, we were pretty eager to see what Kristen Stewart would pull out for the "Welcome to the Rileys" red carpet in New York last night. After all, the girl earned our fashion stamp of approval at the Spike Scream Awards this past weekend when she arrived in a GUiSHEM Spring 2011 one-shoulder dress, and we had high hopes that she'd win us over yet again.

The actress hit the premiere aiming for old Hollywood glam, in another one-shoulder (hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?), black and beige dress by Valentino. Was it a fashion win? Let's just say...we're torn.

As one of MTV's resident "Twilight" fanatics, I thought I knew pretty much all there was to know about Bella, Edward and Jacob. But thanks to movies editor Josh Horowitz, a new vocabulary term has entered my "Twilight" lexicon (so to speak). That word is...Krisbian. Are you familiar? I bet you are, because in anticipation of our sit down with Kristen Stewart many, many fans tweeted Josh wanting to know if Kristen's aware of the sapphic portmanteau. (For the uninitiated, a "Krisbian" is an otherwise straight girl who would go gay for Kristen). And to answer your question, yes, Kristen is very aware.

"Yeah, I can't lie about that one," the "Welcome to the Rileys" star replied with an uncharacteristic chuckle when asked if she'd heard of Krisbians. "I totally can't lie about that."

Things aren't looking too pretty for Kristen Stewart in "Welcome to the Rileys". But, with the subject matter at hand (she plays a runaway teenage stripper taken in by a grieving family, after all) it would be hard to imagine otherwise. We've got some new stills from the film (as well as the poster) to share with you, and it looks as though KStew isn't just baring her soul in this flick.

Kristen has shred any hint of glamor to capture the down-on-her-luck character Mallory. In one pic we see a scared and bruised Kristen standing in a dressing room (alongside co-star Melissa Leo) in nothing but her bra and jeans. It's not the first time Kristen has shown some skin for a role (she did go for a scantily-clad dip with Jesse Eisenberg in "Adventureland"), but it certainly looks like she's gotten into this gritty role.

With autumn quickly approaching, we're gearing up for warm wool sweaters, copious cups of cocoa and, perhaps most importantly, some seriously great film releases. All week long we'll be rolling out exclusive clips, photos and interviews as part of our Fall Movie Preview Week 2010, so stay tuned!

Today, we got our hands on three pics from a movie we've been talking about forever (well, maybe more like nine months or so): Kristen Stewart's gritty film "Welcome to the Rileys." Kristen plays runaway teen prostitute Mallory, who's taken in by James Gandolfini to help him ease the pain of his own daughter's death.

Kristen Stewart's wardrobe in the "Twilight" franchise has seen plenty of imitation — enough people want to dress like Bella Swan that some companies have put certain pieces of as-seen-in-"Twilight" clothing back into production — but we don't think the same will happen for Kristen's next movie, "Welcome to the Rileys." While it's been garnering plenty of critical praise, we're not sure many people will want to dress up like K-Stew's runaway teenage stripper character.

Although there aren't many mimic-worthy outfits in "Rileys," plenty of work goes into designing the wardrobe for the film. Costume designer Kim Bowen recently spoke about her experiences creating the film's looks in a new podcast called "The Back Lot," and she had some great insights into the process of creating the perfect image for Kristen's character, Mallory.

The last we heard of "Welcome to the Riley's" was back at Sundance, when MTV's Eric Ditzian called Kristen Stewart's performance "utterly fearless." There were plenty of clips and stills that had been released to promote the film up until that point, but today we have a trailer (premiering on Yahoo Movies) and an anticipated release date (November 5, limited) for everyone who wasn't at Sundance to look forward to.

Kristen doesn't get that much screen time in the trailer, so it's hard to judge her performance fairly on that. Instead, it sets up the relationship of its two other leads -- James Gandolfini as Doug Reily and Melissa Leo as his wife Lois -- and what gets them to the point where Doug heads to New Orleans and meets Kristen's Mallory/Allison.
