Today, James Franco, our generation's most renaissance of renaissance men, turns 33! He's an actor, artist, filmmaker, student, writer and all-around mystery wrapped in an enigma. Did we mention he's also a hottie? We assume that last part goes without saying.

As his 33rd year of existence rolls around, it seems that the former "Freaks and Geeks" star is busier than ever. This year already he's hosted the Oscars, been nominated for an Oscar and released his comedy "Your Highness." He also debuted the video art piece "Three's Company The Drama" and helmed two videos for REM.

And what's on his to-do list? James plans to return to "General Hospital," playing a shady performance artist, will star in the dark flick, "Maladies," and this summer will show us all how the apes just got so smart in "Rise of The Planet of The Apes."

This Sunday we have a hot date planned with the likes of James Franco, Natalie Portman, Jesse Eisenberg, Hailee Steinfeld and, of course, a fellow named Oscar.

When it comes to universally beloved actresses who have made brilliant career moves, 29-year-old Natalie Portman seems to top the list. Over the course of just one year, she's starred in a film ("Black Swan") that earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture and is sure to earn her an Oscar nod as well, will make her return to romantic comedies in this week's "No Strings Attached," and will appear in a comedic action-adventure fantasy flick ("Your Highness") that already has all her male fans drooling over her bare bottom. Oh, did we forget to mention she's also engaged and pregnant?

Natalie's career choices have been near-perfection since she landed her first major acting role at the age of 13. Though she took a bit of a hiatus from the biz to attend college (Harvard, no less), the starlet managed to come back even better than before. She's one of the most respected young actress out there, so we're taking a look back at how Natalie's pulled off such an impressive career (all before 30!).

Zooey DeschanelShe already said, "Yes Man" and spent "(500) Days of Summer," but now Zooey Deschanel will be able to call herself "Your Highness." The actress is heading to Northern Ireland this month to begin filming "Highness," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the comedy, which was penned by Ben Best and Danny McBride (both of whom star in and created HBO's "Eastbound & Down"), Zooey will play the virginal bride to a heroic prince (James Franco) who is on an adventure with his much lazier brother (Danny) to save their father's kingdom. Read more...
